    Hey Mike,

Random question here. I've decided that my Alden's are a little too chunky, and I picked up some AE Park Avenues in a 9.0C-I'm pretty happy with their silhouette and fit. I'm interested in the Medallion Captioes, and wondering if the they would have a similar look as well as sizing. If I'm a 9.0C should I go TTS with a 9.0D or would I be better off sizing down to an 8.5? I wear an 8.5 Alden Barrie, but they're a little wide and I need to wear thicker socks for them to feel really comfortable.

I'm always trying to learn as much English as humanly possible, and this thread has been an unlimited source of phrases like "hot damn". Keep it up guys [IMG]

^ Russian. Started with English when I was 7, which was more than 15 years ago now. Apologies for derailing the thread [IMG]

Got my caramel rivet chino back from tailor.

Took a quick picture of it on and feel something is amiss. Would a slight taper at the hem make this fit better for my proportion? The inseam is 30" and leg opening is 7.5"

Would narrowing the leg opening down to 7.25" make this look/fit better? Thx.

It seems to me that the whole leg can be slimmed down a bit.

I hope you left some fabric as those look a good 2 inches too short.

Agreed -- they're just too short, that's all. (The leg opening looks fine, width-wise.)

Depends what type of office you work in.

I wear my oxfords (blue and red) all the time.
