Noted and interested. Will these be on the Forest last?
^ Mike can correct if this is wrong, but they were being discussed in the Epaulet x Carmina MTO thread (which is where the snuff suede austerity brogues came from). If that's still the case, then the last is probably up for debate, but I remember the Forest last being the most popular choice. It's a fantastic boot last.
^Agree that it is a fantastic boot last.
For some reason there was suddenly a pair of Milkshake's in my size. Instacopped based on KG's pictures.
Got my first ever piece from Epaulet today (greycast indigo chambray utility shirt) from Nathanl. I could be wrong but I think it fits perfectly. This thing is so well made. I so much appreciate the fact that you use really chunky buttons! And I think the length is perfect for wearing untucked.
Details: 7" bowery shorts from J.Crew, Mougin & Piquard grande seconde watch, Alden pebbled mahogany calfskin shortwings with a micro sole.
Yeah, I think it fits great. Grats with your first purchase. I'm waiting for my second now..
Thanks! I'm waiting for my second, too, ha. The service rivet chinos. Should be here tomorrow.
Nice! Post pics when you receive them.
Hey Mike, sent you a PM regarding NYC visit. Let me know what works for you.
Same thing happened for me today with the gunmetal rivets. I've been trying to get ahold of those for so long, I was afraid they'd be gone before I'd finished checking out. But now they are finally mine
After 4 weeks of wear my soles are starting to separate on both of my shoes, any easy fixes so this doesn't keep spreading all the way around?
ah, i'm jealous of those loafers.
I was just catching up the thread when I decided to set up an account and chime in! Just wanted to thank everyone over at Epaulet and all of the frequent contributors to this thread. Thanks to everyone I've found not only a great spot for picking up some fresh additions to my wardrobe but also a really wonderful source of learning and inspiration. I have been consistently impressed across the board.
Welcome to the thread and thank you for your kind words.
