Excuse me, what exactly is carhartt brown?
sorry I do not remember the exact name.. this orange brown color from the first party of 10oz chinos.. I missed out the french blues, but got these.. they're awesome.. someone was referring to these as carhatt brown here..SF approved
^ probably referring to the Caramel Ducks, which look very close to the classic Carharrt shade of brown.
Scarlet Linen Walt.
Oh damn, when those are restocked, I'm robokopping.
wj4, cool stuff.
Got my Caine jacket back from Southwick who repaired the back panel (thanks Mike & Adele!) and put it to use this weekend at a friend's wedding in Moscow, Idaho. It once again needs a trip to the tailor to address that pull at the button, but I got it just a day before the trip so decided to just deal with it.
with jeans and an OCBD at the airport.
With Epaulet grape herringbone pants. Now, a quick digression. Apparently Eastern Washington and Idaho don't get people dressing up so much. I was in this diner in Spokane, and the waitress was obsessed with my pants. She asked to touch them. She said they were amazing. She took me and my friend through the kitchen and upstairs to the owner to show off my pants, where she insisted the owner touch them. So feel sad if you weren't able to get a pair of grape herringbone pants in your life, because they will not only keep you warm and looking sharp, but apparently will also be a sense of amusement as well. If only some attractive young woman would react the same way....
In Coeur D'Alene with OCBD and Drake's ancient madder tie.
highland kilting x epaulet. Just kidding.
Agree about the button pulling, but otherwise it looks great. If you don't mind me asking what size are you wearing and how tall are you?
that's a 38 extra long (custom order), though last run through the tailor I had him shorten the sleeves a bit from how they came originally. The tailor also took it out a bit in the chest to fix the pulling, but the jacket got damaged, and I think Southwick put a new back panel in with the same fit as the original, so it needs to be adjusted again. I am about 6'4-6'5", 180-185lb. The grape herringbones are size 32 walts.
If I get another custom jacket from Southwick I think a 39 XL in length, and just long in sleeves would be about perfect.
Well done, Oisin. My favorite of the lot is the madder 'n' moose pic (highland kilting notwithstanding).
Perfect fit, oisin.
Haven't even received my first order from Epaulet yet and I purchased another Epaulet piece. Granted, it was from B&S here, however. A greycast chambray shirt from nathanl.
Mike, I'm assuming this is still going live tomorrow. What's the end date for submissions?
And for the record, I am officially opting out of the random-drawing portion of this contest. If I win, I'm hoping it's based solely on excellence of fit pic awesomeness.
Great pics Oisin and I look forward to the photos guys.
Can someone tell me what the Leg opening width is for a walt trouser at around 29'' in inseam?
+1. Loving the pictures, my man. I really like the bright tie standing out.
Keith: Did you get the Madras trousers yet?
Mike: Thanks a lot for the Madras trousers! I just tried them on about 20 mins ago and they are perfect...no alterations needed. Will drop them off at the dry cleaner's tomorrow. I thought about posting a picture now just for fun, but I will wait for a proper picture.
