1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Hey Mike-
Can you also post up a swatch of the Purple Shetlands.
Would love to be able to figure out which color I want to go with.

    Hi Everyone,

This is Adele, co-owner of Epaulet. Just wanted to introduce myself officially on the forum. I love scanning through and seeing the great conversation and pictures.

I'm here to mainly help you with any questions/issues. I handle most of the Customer Service at the shop/online, so please drop me a PM if I can help with anything. I'll try to check in daily, but sometimes it gets crazy. In that case, the best way to get in touch is to email service-at-epauletshop.com.

    Looking forward to participating!

    Cheers,
    Adele

Couldn't wait for the Shell restock; ordered the brown calfskin today.

Need to stay away from the Epaulet website.

Thanks again for all your size/fit help a few weeks ago via e-mail. Three pairs of pants and a pair of shoes later, can't thank you enough.

Haha, with her and Matt we'll be tackling this thread from all angles this Fall! Thanks everyone for the warm welcome :)

Thank you sir! PleaselLet me know what you think of the shoes after they arrive.

Not that exact item, but I hooked up a brand new Shawl Cardigan from Scotland for this Fall. It's freaking fantastic. We actually have a quite a few Epaulet sweaters coming this season from both Scotland and Italy. They'll be lots of good stuff to choose from.

Yes, my apologies to our size 28 customers. It's been tough selling that size lately, so I've had to scale back how much we order in it.

That said, almost all of our Fall trousers this year will have additional fabric to be cut (including these Shetlands). We can easily do a special order for you and load it into our monthly cutting. No extra charge, and you'd get delivery in about four weeks. You can drop me or Matt a PM to place that order whenever you're ready.

    Epaulet Shetland Tweed Trousers

Hey guys, here's the long-promised Shetland Trousers. We'll have fit pics to show later this week. I've been talking about these for a while, but they're really incredible - especially if you live somewhere with a cold winter.

This is the main delivery of Walt's that we'll have. In a few weeks, we'll take Rudy Special orders on them. Walt 28's and 38's can be special ordered. And we can also cut you a matching sportcoat for $795. This would make up as a seriously ace suit.

    Mike,

I've been looking at brown trousers for the last few weeks. I never bought a pair because dark brown is so mundane to me. I've been looking at the Shetland Cocoa all day today, and just pulled the trigger. I think the herringbone pattern did it for me, also Donegal wool just rocks.

I want to add a permanent cuff to them. Do you think the weight is too heavy to do so?

Yes! Personally, since I already have the navy, I'd love to see it in a midnight or charcoal flannel, almost like what you're planning for the Eisenhower. I see a lot of overlap between the CPO and the moleskin cutaway overshirt, but I'm just not a cutaway guy - if the moleskin was a point collar, I'd already have it, since I prefer the button chest pockets to the CPO ones. Those suggestions in mind, the CPO is a great casual jacket - mine's coming out shortly, based on how cool it's getting in Seattle. [IMG]
