1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    EpauletXCharleston meetup today:
BG in the Leaf Rivets and Suede Chukkas and I'm in the Seersucker shirt and Handsewn mocs. Dunno how you Southerners wear long pants in this...feels like 150 down here. BG asked me to crouch down to make him look taller...:D. Good times in Charleston, thanks for bringing it together Epaulet!

Good photo NYR and BG. The leaf rivets look great.

The prospect of sand suede loafers is the only thing stopping me from ordering the snuff suede (my resolution not to buy more shoes probably wouldn't be enough.)

    Son of a gun.

Waited months for the caramel double monks in a US 9 and it seems they are already gone. Sigh...just going to have to buy Magnani double monks from Nordstrom.

Sporting the infraRED polo today. A couple of thoughts...

I wouldn't change a thing about the collar. Yes, it is unusual for a polo, but this keeps it from looking like every other generic polo out there. Well, that and the color and the quality.

I steamed it when I took it out of the packaging. I found this loosened it up a bit. It has also stretched out slightly through the day as I have moved around. It was on the border of tight in the morning. Now it drapes nicely.

Holy s*** do you get around! Glad that you guys are having a boss time in Charleston! I love that city. I had a dinner in the Charleston Place hotel restaurant that was one of the best / most calorie dense meals that I've ever had. I still daydream of those cheese grits.

Ah, apologies, we tapped out all of the seersucker cloth for the season. Should get a small restock of oxford rivets though.

Yes, I believe that Adele emailed you back yesterday. We'll try to accommodate you for that return.

Ah man, sorry about that - the Caramel's flew out. I've got another shipment coming for 10/15. I'm actually going to announce all of the restocks in the Carmina thread in the next week. We can accept preorders on standard sizes or extended sizes (smaller than UK7, larger than UK11)

Excellent - really glad that you like it! And yes, it will form to your body after a bit of wear. I've been sporting the Infrared every few days. And if you follow those cleaning instructions (cold water, delicate wash or inside lingerie bag, hang dry on a thick sportcoat hanger) it will clean beautifully with no shrinkage and very few wrinkles.

Haha! That photo looks hilarious....and yes it was ridiculously hot that day, but luckily I wasn't walking around outside and I could blast the A/C as soon as I got back into my car :nodding:

But it was great to meet you and the fam! The Noisy Oyster in Charleston is probably one of the most unlikely spots for an Epaulet meetup, but it was a lot of fun!

It's a bit confusing. Our shirts scale by 2" in the chest (measured all around) while GV scales 4" all around. So the GV small is a touch smaller than our Small, but basically very similar. The GV medium is somewhere in between our medium and large. And the GV large is fairly close to our XL.

What are the chances of making some shirts for us guys with 18" necks and 50" chests? ;)

I just wanted to add that I am a big fan of the new polos - I went with the burgundy and it does not disappoint. I've been playing around with different polo brands recently (smedley, sunspel, criquet, kent wang), and the new Epaulet fit/construction is right there at the top.

My only qualm is the cutaway collar - I like it, but I don't know how many iterations of it I'd want. Any plans to mix that up for the fall releases?

Good god. I'm saving for a move to a new apartment man, and you are killing me with these Carmina shots. Now, not only will it be hard to save, I'll need a bigger apartment for the shoe storage. And the preview of the new "Heisenberg" bomber? I'll obviously need to start selling a ton of meth to get the cashflow going.

Had to jump on the natural chromexel belt, been eyeing that for a while. And inevitably when I go to pick it up I'll have to try on the new polos. Somehow it seems the output of amazing items has gone up, I don't know how you guys do it.
