That racing green color is sweet. If I didn't already have a pair of Incotex in that color, Id be all over it. What makes the color even better is how the green fades with washes...it is incredible.

I can't believe I almost didn't order a pair of those chinos. They look awesome!

They look great. I picked up my pair in size 29 (my first Epaulet chino purchase). Mike says they run smaller than usual EP's. Can someone who owns other pairs of EP's speak to whether the sizing difference is noticeable? I'm considering picking up another pair in the future and I'm trying to decide whether to stick to the 29 or size down.

And... if I were looking for a similar fit but slightly looser in the thigh, tapered Rudy's would be my best bet?

Butterscotch and racing green canvas arrived today. Brief try-on so far. The butterscotch canvas is soft and is only going to get softer. Very nice. The green feels sturdier, in a perfectly good way. Definitely believe NYR's comment above about the green's prospects for fading when broken in. Plan to start wearing both immediately and then figure out the hemming etc. later after a wash or two.

The olive chinos are amazing. I took em out last night, the GF was all over it. Unfortunately for the next few months I'm wearing nothing but jeans and v-necks, so not a lot of opportunity to take them out(save the random Friday night).

I have them in the same size as my one other pair (Japanese khaki) and the difference for me is hardly noticeable (perhaps because they are so sooooooft). I think the next size up on the olives would have been OK too but unless yours are a tight squeeze I'd think you'll be fine sticking with the same size in the future.

Wore mine out in public for the first time today, where they soon became the object of admiration of a cute girl. "Can I... touch your pants?"
(Sadly one of the back pocket buttons fell off as well, but that's an easy fix.)

I wear size 32 on Walts and Rivet Chinos. Since the Rivet Chinos fit me pretty snug, but still comfortable, I took the advice to size up on the EP x Staples olive chinos. The size 33 olive chino felt slightly looser than size 32 regular Rivet Chinos initially, and after a wash and hang dry, they feel almost exactly like my size 32 Rivet Chinos, so the size up advice on the olive chinos was spot on for me.

If the clothing thing doesn't work out, you definitely have a future as a game show host. :D

They do indeed run about a size smaller than the other chinos. I have them in 32 and they fit just like my gunmetal rivets in 31.
