Ranger, you are never going to get a raise if you keep dressing so well to work. They must think you are a trust fund kid.

lol, far from it. We aren't getting a raise regradless...don't you know we're all lazy slackers who couldn't hack it in "real" professions? Well, if you read the local papers anyway.

On a side career note here, cool History Day Fair project today that should get Ep Approval:

and tomorrow I should be getting one on Men's Fashions of the 20th Century...

The Smiths are my favorite band ever. That is fantastic!

I certainly approve of the Smiths. But it hurts a little to know that my teenage music is now an exhibit for history day.

How Soon is Now. One of my favorite depressing songs.

you could meet somebody who really loves you
so you go, and you stand on your own
and you leave on your own
and you go home, and you cry
    and you want to die"

Kid did quite well too, she really got them, and explained how they fit the theme of Revolution, Reaction and Reform.

Thanks much all. These are quite tight on the thighs, I think I'm going to have to send them back. Sad part being, they're size 36. ;) Guess I have to figure something else out. :)

On another note, so weird to see so many (ex?) punks/goths here... High school me wouldn't recognize 38 year old me.

    Hey all,

I'm about to spring for my first pair of Walts, I already have 4 pairs of Rivets in size 32, and I find the thigh fits me pretty well. What concerns me is that the Walt is listed a quarter inch smaller than the Rivets for the thigh measurement. For you guys out there with both, are the Walts noticeably tighter? Do they wear in a way such that they don't seem smaller?

Also, here are some Rivet Service Chinos on a rainy day.

I think because of the rise you'll find the Walts a touch more roomy.

Raise? I don't think that word is even in Mike Bloomberg's vocabulary -- definitely not in Andrew Cuomo's.

If it makes you feel better I just wear mine slightly tight in the thighs anyway and they wind up breaking in just fine. It sounds like size 36 Walts would fit you nearly perfectly. Mike's summer stuff usually includes some cotton fabrics which are more casual -- the Cramertons, which he has up right now, are a cotton fabric, which you may like.
