    1) Bummed my new Walts won't be back from the tailor for another 2 weeks!! I'll miss the contest. The price of using a good tailor--he's not a secret.

    2) The fit of the Ashland shirts is so awesome! It's my ideal cut. So stoked on the one I picked up in B&S--more in my future for sure. The Epaulet cut is just a bit off for my tall/skinny frame, but the Ashland takes all that was wrong (for me) w/ the OTR Gitman fit and makes it better (body slimmer, longer arms). I'd love to see some styles w/ the higher collar roll of the classic Gitman (and the Epaulet shirting, for that matter). Any news on when the next drop of Ashland shirts will be?

    3) Shameless Plug: I picked up the Aroostook Two-tone Camp Moc in 10D on sale, and they don't quite work for me (I have a long toe that jacks things up sometimes).

If anyone is interested in these really gorgeous mocs,, drop me a PM. I'd love to find a home for them. Super bummed they don't quite fit.
BTW, the non-studio shots are a very accurate color representation.

Will you guys ever be getting more purple gingham flannels in? Bought one in small on sale and love it but it's a bit too tight on the chest. Length and arms are perfect though so I just deal with it when I wear it out. By the way, the ladies love it too. Well done

    Epaulet Christmas Trouser Contest Begins!

    * Fit pics must feature Epaulet-branded trousers (Walt or Rudy), Rivet Chinos, or Smith/Hoyt jeans. No other epaulet-branded clothing is needed for the image.

    * You can post the pics right here in our affiliate thread. Especially awesome shots will be cross-posted to Epaulet's Tumblr/Twitter/Facebook.

    * Two winners will be announced. For the "popular choice" winner, our staff will narrow down all the entries to 5-7 finalists. That winner will then be chosen by Styleforum vote from the finalists. The second winner will be chosen by random ballot. Each member will receive one ballot for posting at least one pic in our trousers/chinos/jeans. There is a maximum of one ballot per member. That winner will then be chose at random.

    * Quality photography is encouraged! As we'll do the initial edit for the Popular Choice winner, I'd be more inclined to choose a well-composed and cool photo of a guy with a simple outfit then a totally dressed-up dude shooting himself in a bedroom mirror. It's not about how amazing your overall wardrobe is, it's about how much energy and creativity you dedicate to the project.

    * Please submit no more than one image per trouser that you own (Montage images can count as one individual shot)

    * Deadline for Submission is Midnight, Monday Dec 26th . The finalist thread for voting will go up on Tuesday the 28th, with the winner announced Thursday the 30th. We extended the submission period a few days as we figure a lot of guys will turn it out a bit for Christmas, and that's a good excuse to get dressed up and have someone shoot pics of you.

    * The two winners will each receive a custom pair of Epaulet "Christmas" pants. They can choose the size (28 through 36) and the fit (Walt or Rudy). The trousers will come unfinished for maximum cuff potential.

    OK, it's on!!!

I'm two sizes too small to enjoy these eBay finds but I figured I'd pass it along:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-550-Ep...eed-Blazer-Hipster-Haberdashery-/260917775380 (the "Desmond" tweed from last Winter, I think)

    and this sucker

    www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-550-Epaulet-NYC-Handmade-Slim-Fit-Blazer-Hipster-Haberdashery-/250955782727?pt

that I don't even remember them producing but it looks legit.

They're at Buy It Now! for 100 bucks a pop, which is out of control. Some size 40 dude should just seize on both of them.

These are great deals but the fact that the words "Epaulet" and "Hipster Haberdashery" are next to each other just pisses me off.

Thanks to TKJTG for the first contest post!

If you guys wouldn't mind, please write the name of the trouser or chino that you've modeling. Looks like British Khaki chino, worsted grey flannel from Fall 2010.

And holy s*** at those ebay listings! We made like six units of that second jacket. That fabric was actually amazing - they all sold out before even hitting the website. I totally forgot about it. The fit on those wasn't totally where we wanted it to be, but if you're a 40 and open to doing some tailoring, they would be dope afterwards.

Not sure how much I like the name "Hipster Haberdashery" though. Can't knock the use of alliteration though.

The donegal blazer got snatched up with the quickness, good thing or the gf would have had my head. She told me I should just start leaving cookies and milk out for the UPS delivery man, since he's just as good as santa.

Yeah, I saw those and said to myself "Awesome, Merry Christmas to me" but they're way too big to even pretend I could wear-- but I figured better one of us than some vulture outsider who searched "hipster blazer" or something ridiculous like that.

Also, uh, note to self, search "Epaulet" in eBay more frequently, because apparently Christmas miracles do happen.

You're right on the worsted gray flannel. The other one is the cord rivet chino

I certainly can't take photos like KG and NYR, but I think I might own almost as much Epaulet! Submission #1

    • Epaulet Trousers- "Brushed Tattersall" (2010)
    • Gant Rugger- White Oxford
    • Barbour- Bedale Jacket in Sage
    • Clark's- Wallabees in Chestnut
