^ Haha...actually, that's a pretty nice scarf, may need to pick that up.
Mike what's your schedule over Thanksgiving weekend? I'll be in the city, when can I swing by? Will you be primarily in LES or in brooklyn?
Definitely, but it's going to be in early Spring '12. Probably late Feb, early March
Thanks guys - enjoy the Donegals! Man, I'm thrilled with how those trousers came out. That fabric was the absolute best tweed for trousers that I could find this year. It made up so nicely.
Not for Fall - everything else that's en-route is a flannel of some sort - but we'll surely do some lightweight cords for Spring.
I hope so. The shoes are here at the airport now, just taking forever with customs. We won't get them today, but I'm optimistic for tomorrow or Friday. Very important - if you're in the city this weekend, they will only be at the Manhattan store, and they'll probably just be in the basement. But if any Styleforum members want a personal shopping experience with the Carminas at our Manhattan shop, we can make that happen. They probably won't be out on the floor and up for general sale until late next week.
Thanks guys! Really glad that you're so pleased with the Canvas cloth. I absolutely love it, and we're going to definitely expand that program for Spring.
Thanks for picking them up!
The Grape is such a pale tone that it can be worn in almost any setting that a grey pant can be worn. Navy, Tan, and Olive all work really well. Charcoal too. The main thing to avoid is any grey toned jackets that are too close to the trouser's color.
Cocoa is a great match for any earth tones - like Olive, tan, Burnt Orange. Medium grey is a nice compliment to it too.
Haha, little accident with assigning products to categories there. Thanks for the heads-up, I fixed it.
We'll be closed on Friday, but open all weekend for our normal hours. I"ll be in Manhattan both days.
If you purchase only one Johnstons scarf, that's the one to have.
That may be me...
Yeah, I don't even own a scarf at all, so I think I need to jump on this one. And I'll be in NYC this week to visit some family, but only for late Wednesday night thru early Friday morning, so I won't be able to get to the store to check out the new Carmina collection.
Cramertons on a rainy Tuesday...

So how were the outcomes you learned about?
I learned that Naples frightens the English...
A plug for this one too. My favorite scarf I own: http://www.epauletshop.com/servlet/the-806/Large-Lambswool-Scarf-Exploded/Detail
Hi Mike, any news regarding Natural CXL Somersets?
We finally got the leather, but it just came in last week. We'll resume handsewn production for the early spring - with the first delivery probably coming around the end of February. I've got a ton of leather, so we'll run both the Somerset and Penobscot in Natural CXL, and we'll be able to easily accommodate special orders in extended sizes
Fits are boss as always! Did I mention how much my wife likes looking at your photos?
Quoted for troof. Autumn Buchanan was far and away our best-selling style last year.
Home early from work + package arrives at last (didn't realize this particular order was sent UPS vs typical priority) = great day. Thanks!
note to all trouser buyers. do not keep a pen in your pocket when going to a concert where you may be (are) rocking out pretty hard and slamming into people and whatnot. got a nice stain of black ink on my rivet chinos. now to investigate best methods of ink removal.
Got the Johnston's merino wool. Details are niceee.
