Curious to hear from those with the Stitchwork Sashiko pants what they think of them, both in terms of the fabric and fit?
It's not going to be a material that we use in the future. I think that I'm going to take some time off from Sashiko in general, so good time to grab a pair on sale if you dig the look.

I love them. I consider them to be my “fun” pants because they add such a unique element to my normal rotation of chinos and jeans.

The fabric is thick and the Sashiko pattern gives a nice pop of texture which stands out, without being over the top.
So far, I’ve worn them with both black as well as white graphic tees.

Worth noting that it definitely feels completely different (softer) than my RGT Sashiko jacket (not a bad thing, just had a different expectation based on previous experience).

Also, some of the threads were loose and I either had to cut them off, or they came off during the first wash (hand wash in a bath tub)

As for fit, I have huge thighs and have to size up in almost all of my pants, so I wouldn’t make a sizing decisions based on my fit. In this case, I went up 3 sizes (based on the size guide) and it works perfectly for me.

That said, I will likely stick to Wilheims from here on out, since I like that cut better in “normal” fabrics.

Lastly, the color isn’t quite as “Olive” (feels closer to forest green)
Thanks for the post and the photos.. so glad that you're enjoying them!

A client in the UAE commissioned this absolutely stunning Nuovo sportcoat in genuine @HarrisTweed

This "Bark" colorway is a beautiful medium brown tone with elements of olive & wheat.

Our client chose a set of burgundy suede elbow patches, which makes for a great color accent...

Haha yeah, he mentioned that he travels abroad for work, so this is something that he'll really use.

It was an awesome sale to make. I love when customers from abroad reach out to me because they specifically want something from an American heritage maker like Hickey Freeman

@Epaulet I was interested in a custom shirt, namely Individualized Shirt or Thomas Mason. My question is, am I limited to the fabrics on the website? I was looking for something (cotton) off white, no patterns...

Hey there! I actually have a ton of swatches... I'm working on relaunching the whole collection. If you like, feel free to drop me an email at [email protected]. I can put together a quick video for you with a bunch of those specific options.

Corso Jacket Collaboration // 12 Units Available

We've partnered with Alfargo's Marketplace for this special edition Corso jacket!
We're offering two Scottish tweeds with an exclusive heavyweight olive liner:

Sienna 18oz Donegal is woven by Magee in Scotland, and this fabric is a beast! This pure wool is dense and very warm. The color is a soft antique brown with subtle persimmon and ecru flecks. Inventory in this cloth is limited and we can only make approximately 12 units in total. Paired with the exclusive heavyweight liner, this is an outerwear piece that can stand up to seriously cold weather. This is priced at $375.

Grey 16oz Donegal is also woven in Scotland, and it's just a touch lighter. The tones are a traditional salt & pepper mix of medium grey, chalk, and charcoal. This jacket will be an easy piece that matches flawlessly to everything else in your wardrobe. Although it's still quite warm, it can be worn a bit later into the Spring. This is priced at $325.

Both jackets will include gold "Alfargos" embroidery on the interior pocket. Sizes 36 through 46 are available to order.

Epaulet x Alfargos Donegal Corso Jacket Project: $325 to $375

Somewhat related, I missed out on the donegal pants earlier this year.
If you decide do Wilheims in this ^ material (or similar), I would be very interested.

Speaking of wishlists. I’m also on the market for Moleskin pants (Olive, blue, khaki)

Alpaca Project Deadline Today (Wed, 10/9)

Hey guys! It's the last day to get the 15% discount and have your order ship by the end of October.

If you're not ready to order then we will offer both a Thanksgiving and Christmas delivery. But this discount won't be available. So you'll get the best deal and the most wear out of your incoming Alpaca pieces by ordering today 😁

Here's a link to the whole collection. And you'll want to enter this code at checkout:

alpaca15
The pure alpaca blanket has been our best seller by far. And full disclosure: we have a total of 25 Grey blankets available and 12 Camel blankets. We've sold 13 grey and 5 camel to date, so it's moving pretty quickly. Once they're gone, a restock won't happen until February.

This thing is AMAZING. It's warm, soft, comfortable, and durable. It's everything that you'd expect in a beautiful luxury piece. And it makes a great gift for the person who has everything. I've already ordered a Camel one for my parents.

It's $395, so you'll save almost $60 if you grab the discount.

Since it's difficult to get an idea of it in still photos, I shot a video with the blankets outdoors. You can see the size of them and the colors in natural light:

I also found them to be thicker than the other sashiko I have in the Doyle as well as another brand's sashiko.

I only wore them once since I got them, and I think its coming to the right season for them now to be worn more frequently. I went with the grey color. I feel like they are similar in fit to my other Epaulet pants.

I've posted a suede A1 blouson in size 48 here - but would really, really love to trade/buy a size 50 if anyone here has one. Thanks!
