CUSTOM TWEED DOYLE & SINCLAIR JACKETS

Hey guys! Real quick... I'm closing the orders for these tweed Doyle's and Sinclair's today. I'm going to finalize our fabric buy in the morning and give everything to our cutter tomorrow, so we should nail the timing on this.

We sold two Pink Melange Harris Tweed jackets on the first day, and they'll actually be ready to ship tomorrow. It's been a bit of a journey, but this process is working really quickly now.

Pricing starts at $295, these are custom made for you, and you can change both the body and sleeve length as needed. Monograms are available too!

10 Fabrics are available.. you can check them out best in this video:

Custom Doyle & Sinclair Jackets in Tweed: $295 to $345

Hey guys! Cooler weather is on the way, and I'm looking to sell literally all of the wool that I can to everyone possible.

In that spirit, I sourced 10 really beautiful new tweeds from Scotland, Ireland, and Italy. I loaded them into our Los Angeles custom jacket program. You can get a Doyle or a Sinclair, and you can vary the body and sleeve length as needed.

If you've noticed, I offered a few rounds of customs this year, but nothing for the past 4 months. Reason is: I've overhauled our logistics. Our sewing is fast. Cutting was an issue. I had to find someone who could reliably cut the jackets within 3 to 4 days AND really work with the customer's modifications. I'm thrilled to say that I found her, and she's assisting our main cutter (Jorge) with all of these individual pieces. We just made a small batch of customs for a client and I had them shipped out in under two weeks. I'd rather under-promise and over-deliver, so I'm guaranteeing a September date for this, but planning for it to be in the early to middle of the month.

All that said, the fabrics are beautiful, and they're priced from $295 to $345 for the finished jackets. Fabric inventory is quite limited in a few of them (especially Aged Topaz Barleycorn & Holland & Sherry Guncheck), so if you like them.. please order sooner than later.

Also.. I'm buying these fabrics locally. If you want an RTC piece to be made in them, I can definitely accomodate that! Pricing will be on the realm of our Huddersfield goods -- so a bit cheaper than the tweeds I'm currently offering. Figure about a six week lead time on that, as I have to send them the cloth. But just email me at [email protected] and I can set it up!

I've had a couple years of pure chaos, and had forgotten how extremely dangerous this thread is... ;)

Do you guys remember the Olive Extra Long Staple Dyed Cotton custom trousers that we offered a little while back?

They came from a limited stock of dyed and treated cloth that I purchased here in Los Angeles. We were only able to make 7 units in total. They arrived today and will be shipped tomorrow.

At the time, I sold them as "The Best Olive Cotton Ever," and really.. that's pretty freaking accurate. I'm going to shoot some pics prior to shipping them out, but they really are so exceptional! Congrats to everyone who ordered them.. you're going to love these.

Also quick update: DCBD shirts are well in work. As it stands, we're looking at Friday for a finish date, but the heat wave has been slowing things down a bit. I'll keep in touch on it, but we're close to completion for the preorder and open stock.

This is random.. but I'm kind of a slow mover on technology. I tend to keep computers, cameras, and phones around a bit longer than I should.

But earlier this week I placed an order for three things: new bluetooth headphones, new bluetooth mouse, and a 100W charging block.

And good lord.. this was a great freaking idea. I can't believe how nice it is to have all of these daily items be totally functional and better than before.

Hey guys! We're closing the discount on the "Alpine Loden" project today. You'll still be able to order these pieces later, but today's the deadline to get 15% off and get delivery by end October. There's no code required, the sale pricing is already live on the site.

The video above shows off the sample garments that we made in this fabric. You can see the categories to order here:

There's a long description in the items, but the TLDR is:

1) Alpine Loden is an Italian-made heavyweight blend of 75% wool and 25% nylon

2) It's extremely warm, remarkably wind resistant, and will keep light precipitation out. It's perfect for the Fall/Winter

3) It's very durable. You can consider these pieces to be an investment which you can wear year after year.

To date, the trouser has actually been the most popular shape. Really heavyweight trousers are difficult to find, and if you live somewhere cold, then these will be a lifesaver in the dead of Winter.

If you have any last minute questions, feel free to use the chat function of my site. I get the messages in real time.

Speaking of RTC, our good friend Bert Sperling sent in some pics in his Pendleton mid-century wool suit.

This was such a rad product to make. Vintage American made wool, tailored into a suit by the oldest and best facility in the USA. And it looks freaking great on him. This fabric is totally sold out, but I'm always offering new limited goods.

Antonio is our "Caballo" expert.

A 40 year veteran of his craft, he does all of the intricate chainstitching at our sewing house. He uses a Union Special machine from 1959, which is nicknamed "Caballo" (Spanish for "horse) due to its in-line seating position.

I'm so grateful to have all of this tradition on our side. A man who has mastered the art of this work. A machine that's been doing it for over 60 years.

If you've wondered why our DCBD shirts are so excellent -- it's because this heritage is literally sewn into them.

And speaking of DCBD's.. the new delivery ships and goes live on Monday!
