I see the Parka's were added to the sale section.

Tempting.

Any current discount codes?
get it, discount code be damned. they’re already very fairly priced, super comfortable and can be worn all year provided you don’t live in the arm pit of the country (looking at you south east texas, louisiana, mississippi, alabama, florida and georgia).

I live in the hairy mole right above above the armpit (NC).

okay so depending on how close to the coast you are, there may be one or two months out of the year it’ll sit tight. but, great to throw over a t-shirt at night in the summer, or lounge around in at home in the comfort of your 66 degree central air conditioning.

I was thinking the green since that is easier to wear with denim without looking like a member of the Blue Man Group, but the blue is prettier (albeit no longer in my size.)

i’ve got the green, and i love it. olive, in general, is super versatile in my opinion.

@Epaulet That indigo ticking stripe is beautiful! Is the indigo expected to fade or should it be color fast?

@Epaulet - Since I haven't bought a Doyle previously to be sure of the fit, what's the current story re: returns, especially on the sale stock? If I buy something that I need to return, is there an extended window to do so, given that I don't really want to run out to the post office at this point?

Nevermind - I slept on the one I wanted and it's gone. Crap.

I'm so glad I picked up that last shadow ink sashiko parka in my size. Tried it on for the first time today going out to pick up food, and immediately got compliments and stares!

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
