Are those C&J Pembrokes?
They're actually the RL Darltons
NYR has some baller shoes for a school teacher.
You can thank B&S for that!
Hear, hear. I picked up some lightly used Darlton wingtips for $250 on B&S. Current retail is $800.
Quick new question:
I'm thinking of picking up my first pair of EP trousers. I was wondering if the if the Slim Walt Brown Houndstooth is a very versatile trouser? Being that it will be my first pair I'm looking for something that will be easy to pair. I'm looking for something business casual as I'm required to wear a button down shirt and tie daily. Any help is much appreciated!
Haha, they're my favorite too.
Solid as always. Man, the phrase "Hickey Shirt" brings back memories. When I first joined SF, they were on massive Buy and Sell clearance. I had like six of them.
Well, for your first pair, we always recommend something solid grey or khaki. The Super 120's are probably the most versatile, all-around dress trouser that we offer. If the Cramertons (modeled by NYR above) aren't too casual for your office, then they can be an excellent choice.
The Brown Houndstooth is a bit more challenging, as you'll have to pay more attention to matching it with patterned shirts, and dark brown is a slightly harder color to pair with most items than medium grey or khaki. But that being said, the Brown Houndstooth is freaking amazing and would be nearly impossible to find in a quality slim pant elsewhere. We made a ton of those pants, and they sold like mad. Not to mention, the matching jacket goes live next week, so you can have yourself and entire old-school suit!
Got my wedding tomorrow, so I'm signing off for a few days. But let me tell you - we have an absolutely epic amount of product going online next week. Southwick for Michael Kuhle sportcoats just got delivered, and they are siiickkkk.
For a little preview, feast your eyes on the Brown Houndstooth!
Holy crap, I just emailed you guys about this! Sell it to me now (the whole suit).
Thanks Mike! I see what your saying I might opt for the Cramertons then. I certainly have some decent patterned shirts but then I run into the problem of knowing how to match a tie to the shirts, which usually just leaves me wearing plain single color shits. I've got a long way to go
Mike, congrats again on the big day tomorrow! Best of luck to you both!
Looking forward to the new product next week.
I'll pile on as well... congrats again, Mike and Adele!
And damn, the new stuff looks killer too!
Have fun tomorrow man!
Congratulations have a great day!
