Thanks, went with the koi and paisley. Paisley's so nice. Gonna skip the shadow dot this time, not really feeling the color. Hopefully someone gives up their blue shadow dot! Will grab the Gitman star shirt soon, hopefully my size's still in stock by then.

    Rivet Chinos

After long last, our first big delivery of Rivet Chinos arrived. We restocked some favorites and brought in a few new varieties. Here's the new lineup:

    Rivet Chino Khaki Canvas: $135
This is going to be our "standard" rivet chino. Easy and traditional khaki color, great US canvas fabric that can be dressed up or down.

Rivet Chino Moss Bedford Corduroy: $145
This is an awesome fabric. It looks like corduroy, but has a flat surface that's extremely durable and comfortable. It's a close relative to "Jungle Cloth," and makes for an excellent - and unique - everyday pant.

Rivet Chino Heavyweight Olive Twill: $165
Thick and tough as hell. The color is an absolutely ace match for dark brown Horsehide and Chromexcel boots.

    And two crucial restocks:

    Rivet Chino British Khaki: $135

    Rivet Chino Navy Canvas: $135

Just wanted to drop in and reiterate (as Mike just restocked) that for the price, Rivet chinos are absolutely unbeatable in cut and quality. Mike really hit the nail on the head with these and if you're on the fence at all about a pair, definitely buy.

added the bedford cord and wool/cash walt to my latest haul. the color and texture on the bedford cord is really great, it's gonna be perfect for fall.

what are the color differences between the british khaki and the regular khaki? on the models they look almost identical. can't decide which i iwant.

think i am going to order a pair of one of the chinos (though was also considering the moleskin trousers or the cramerton cloth).

british khaki appears to be slightly darker, but they are very close. the larger difference is probably the material, twill for british khaki vs canvas for reguarl khaki. i have the clay canvas chinos are they are freaking awesome. i also have the cramertons out getting hemmed. you really can't go wrong.

when are you getting that navy pindot shirt from spring 2010 again?

just picked up the last paisley xs, thanks.

btw, why have the barrelcuff shirts increased in price by $20, or 15%?

When I was in the shop Mike was telling me about how much fabric prices have gone up this last year. He's passing on the true cost of what the fabric costs (at least for pants.) I've seen some similar places go 35%-40% up.

For real. The most basic OCBD Gitman Vintage shirts have gone from like $135 to $165 in the last 6 months. Sheesh.
