Also, great to have you back Slack!
And still so very happy that I got mine over a year ago.
Cannot wait for mine!
Haven't kept up with this thread in a little while, so I apologize if this has already been dealt with, but Mike, can you show us the EP walts you have in store for FW? Any ETA?
Do you plan a re-stock on the natural cxl penebscot loafers any time soon?
I am looking at getting a weller sports coat. This probably has been answered before but I must have missed it wading through the thread; Apologies if so. With the chest measurement an inch smaller then their respective Epaulet shirt sizes does this mean the jackets are much tighter in the chest?
Quick review of the Rivet Chino shorts - I've been living in them since they showed up on the doorstep. Materials and construction quality are excellent, and fit is spot-on. I wear size 32 in Rudy trousers, which need to be taken in a bit at the waist, and size 32 in the Rivet Chino shorts works perfectly, no alterations needed, exactly as per Mike's recommendation. Cheers to Mike for a quality product and great service.
Awww, thank you very much! I love coming on this site - I actually have to consciously curb myself from being on here all day,, or I'll never get any work done. It's a pleasure to speak with you guys directly and to be part of a community that understands and appreciates quality menswear. It's a rare thing!
Yeah, we've got a ton coming. Off the top of my head:
1. Cramerton Cloth WWII-repro cotton
2. Italian flannel slim cargo trousers
3. Three or four different Donegal Tweeds
4. Restock of basic moleskins and flannels
5. Some old-school patterns like micro-houndstooth and gunchecks
6. New classic dress pants in charcoal and navy (also suit separates)
7. A really bold tattersall or two
Yes, but I can't say exactly when. I'm waiting on a large shipment of leather from Horween to come in. I'd say around the end of Sept, early Oct is realistic. We'll have a few new styles drop during that time, and hopefully our Alden makeups should start rolling in soon too.
Not necessarily - there's a difference in construction with shirts and jackets that determines the overall fit. Although the sizing generally corresponds well between the shirts and jackets, the best guide is to measure the chest and length of a jacket that you already own, and see how it matches up. You can also PM me with any sizing questions.
Thank you sir - really glad that you're pleased with them!
Alden for Epaulet Natural Chromexcel Longwings: $485
After long last, the Natural CXL longwings have returned! These were some of our best-selling shoes last year, and they're brilliant in person. They work equally well with denim, chinos, and trousers. And they'd look pretty sharp with either our medium grey or midnight blue suiting. About half of the units were presold, so I have around 16 pairs remaining. If you preordered them, then you can expect your shoes to ship today or tomorrow. Thanks!
beautiful shoes mike.
yeah those look amazing ... and they are on leydon last instead of the barrie. nice!
Amazing shoes right there.
Probably the best shoe on the market right now utilizing the Natural Chromexcel platform.
The leather shows off the details very nicely.
