Dang. I was crossing my fingers the steel gray corduroy tweed would come back.
Steel Navy in the Twill , that was easy
Some very nice corduroy in there. That tweed and that lagoon. And... Mike... I'm not freaking out here... BUT THE ENGLISH DRILL ISN'T GONE FOR GOOD IS IT?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I just figured out that I love it. Here it is as khaki Rudys. We have to save it.
Not freaking out at all.
@chrispy650 discontinued mah man. The khaki color is probably easier to match though:
@SherifEnt thanks so much.. it's a great new color!
Khaki Corduroy Tweed - check
Tobacco Calvary Twill - check
Toffee Chip Donegal Tweed - check
2120 is perfect!
Interested in getting a Khaki Cord Tweed in the Driggs cut. Always been wanting adjustable side tabs but need thoughts on if this will work with this fabric (too thick?) and a Driggs cut (low rise?).
@YseanY sounds great to me on both points.
Side tabs are totally fine with the Cord Tweeds. I think that Moleskin is a bit too thick for them, but we've even done it with that fabric.
And sure, Driggs cut looks great in the Cord Tweeds... we've also made plenty of thicker cottons in the Driggs fit. You'll love it!
And the tabs on the lower rise driggs won't feel out of place?
Also, what can I expect in shrinkage in length if I plan on laundering and hang dry?
@YseanY absolutely not, tabs look good on all of our shapes.
For shrinkage, plan on a half inch in length. If you're going to wash them, then order an inseam with a little bit of break. I recommend this for every cotton trouser. After a wash, all cotton contracts a little bit (you really see this with jeans), so you'll always have the high-water look until you wear it for a day or two and it lengthens out. Do a bit of break and you avoid that.
Olive moleskin is kinda of a classic "must have" right?
@CLTesquire definitely.. olive or camel.
What jacket is that?!
Your Instagram video today in which you put the camel moleskin up against a blue jacket really made the point. I wasn’t sold on camel moleskin until I saw that pairing.
I’ll still argue that Mist moleskin is more useful than Olive moleskin. It has better contrast with fall colored sport coats (which tend to be darker colors than in spring summer).
Mist + Navy is superior to Olive + Navy
Mist + Gray is superior to Olive + Gray
Mist + (dark) Brown is superior to Olive + (dark) Brown
Don’t make me make my argument in photos...
Haven't really worn corduroy trousers before . If You were to have just one pair which would you choose ? Khaki tweed 2131 or caramel 2120 ?
Separate names with a comma.
