All EP sans belt
Awesome! That was mine haha. I bought it straight from the store in some kind of sale like 3 years ago and promptly "outgrew" it. Glad to see it went to a good home. Love that jacket. Literally never been worn![/QUOTE]
That is awesome! Always a risk buying second hand, now I'm even happier with it
Second day in EP Walts - I can't seem to make my phone capture the color of cloth very well (everything gets lighter)
I've lost over 15 lbs. in the past few months. In Epaulet terms, I went from a Rudy 34 to a Walt 32. It is a testimony to the quality of Epaulet pants (or maybe my laziness?) that I have taken my pants to the tailor for major surgery rather than selling them off.
I think I have the same jacket but it's hard to tell exactly from the photos. If it's the fabric I am thinking, it was originally sold as separates and I have the trousers as well. If I were to wear the jacket on it's own, I'd go with navy (or slightly lighter blue) trousers as my first choice. Some grays and olive would go well with the jacket as well. I am usually not a fan of black trousers but this is a jacket that I think could work well with black.
I personally don't pair SC's with jeans unless they have patch pockets and a little more texture
Do you have anything in the stone realm? Think that would jive really nicely w/ the pattern. If not, I'd second the suggestion for olive and say something like a deep or muted burgundy would work really well.
Speaking of sport coats with jeans, EP EFF SC and Individualized shirt:
Ran the crosshatch Kamigata thru it's first wash. Got a lot softer and a little darker. Love it!
Nice find. Black, charcoal or navy trousers should all pair pretty easily. Personally, I think denim and the OCBD are a tough match—not enough texture or casual-ish details. Tell @rusty18 to get patch pockets next time he sells a brand new jacket secondhand!
My red one feels a lot better after that first wash too.
Guys, thanks for the input, really appreciate it. And @rusty18 thanks for the jacket!
