Mike - what size jacket are you wearing in the thedi preorder pics? Trying to decide if I should go with 40 or 42.

I've got on a size 40 in the sample shot. I'll shoot some comparison pics on Rich later today, and try to shoot some on Dylan too.

Also - I'll have the sample in our BK store today, tomorrow, and Friday. It will be at the LES store on the weekend, so it's available to try on for local customers

haha that's what i logged in to check

pretty sure im the same size as Mike so going to order a 40

Dress Stripes and Patterns

We've got a brand new category for dressy stripes and patterns. All of these are yarn-dyed (not printed) and on either smooth compact yarns or high thread-count broadcloth:

You can view all of them here

EPAULET BY INDIVIDUALIZED MADE TO ORDER SHIRTING DRESS STRIPES & CHECKS

Mike...No particular reason (I want the green stripe dammit), but usually all fabrics under one style or name are the same price. The first Montalto is $175 and the next two are $190, which is the same as the Prisma group under it. Are the prices correct?

Im pretty sure fabrics will all cost different amounts. I believe they list the lowest price of the group of fabrics

Yes, I know the lowest fabric price of the entire grouping is in the title. It's just that the three Montalto 100 x 100s are different. Not that big of a deal.

I think when we were at the trunk show the pricing was based on the letter of the alphabet of the card. I dont know what the difference is between fabrics though. Better for epaulet to answer that.

@epaulet Mike - will the Napoli duck canvas sport coats make a return ever? These are by far my favorite of all my EP coats.

Thanks for posting this - and you're entirely right. All three of them should be $190.

The last letter in the Individualized code denotes the price of the item. Earlier letters are less expensive, later letters are more so. We haven't listed any "Z" fabrics to date, but those would be $275, for example.

For the Perennial categories, I tried to group together like prices, but these more seasonal categories will always have a variety of fabric levels and prices. The default rate is actually what the first variant is. For future items, I'll try to make a middle price first so that you see prices go up and down as you scroll through.

And I think that I mentioned this, but the numbers that you see refer to the size of the thread used, and how many threads per square inch. 100s yarn is going to give a very soft and light hand - and this is a two ply fabric (shown by 100x100) which will impart a very crisp feel. These Montalto stripes will make up into a phenomenal dress shirt.

Individualized has a great buying team - and they're truly the best in the business that I've seen. Just like with suiting, these thread counts and 2-ply weaves are important, but they're meaningless if the base yarn is garbage. There's no getting around the cost of great quality shirting fabric, so you should be skeptical if you ever see a $70-ish MTO shirt that's imported and made in a supposedly 100s fabric. Individualized has very balanced pricing on its fabrics, and you can rest assured that more expensive options will yield a more luxurious and special garment.

Good call. Now I don't want to over-promise, but my intention is to offer navy duck canvas suit separates. The upcoming LA-made sportcoat would be in the $250 - $275 range. It's two button, open patch pocket, chest welt style. It would come washed with just a basic rinse to soften it up.

You could then opt for a stock Rivet or stock Driggs to match it - or you can MTO a pant in Rivet/Driggs/Rudy/Walt. That's the goal - to offer a host of options to fit guys in a casual US-made cotton suit for about $400. Would be better to do this in the Spring than July (our projected delivery date for LA jackets), but I hope that this package is compelling enough that it still works.

I'm thinking a run of both Sea Canvas and 12oz Speckled in those sportcoats too.

so anyways...... How about that MA-1!  The pictures look great!  Are there any more detailed measurements on the arms?

Sure, what measurements do you need? The sleeves are right in the middle - they're not skinny and they're not too puffy. We can provide bicep measurements and such, but it's a bit misleading as the sleeves have the light wool interlining as well, so they'll look like they have more room than they actually do.

They'll work great for guys with slim to moderately big arms. We had guys with a pretty wide range of physiques try on the sample in SF, and the sleeve diameter wasn't an issue on anyone. Duane "The Rock" Johnson may have a difficult time fitting it, but he stopped shopping with us years ago.

Ep day:
White spread collar
Navy knit tie (on sale months ago :)
Color 8 Cxl belt
Speckled Chambray Rivets

Alden cigar shell lwb's from AofC patinating after 2 years

400

Looks great!

Is that short sleeve pattern close to being implemented? Because if it is, I might have to swoop on one of these.

Not yet, and honestly we're really far out on this. Individualized offers a short sleeve option, but you won't like. It's really full and long and conservative. It also looks wonky and mis-matched on our slim body.

Patternwork in East Coast factories is a really long affair. I'd love to offer this in the future, but we're probably looking at early Fall.

Some of you may have seen this yesterday on IG. This is easily the most nutzo shirt that we've ever made. Hand-woven Guatemalan cotton stripe.

It's crazy lightweight and almost feels like a knit. We'll have them online tomorrow morning with a big disclaimer - you have to size up by one. We pre-washed everything as I had no idea on shrinkage, and it turned out that it shrank by nearly a full size. It shouldn't shrink any more past this, but it means that we have a true size run of XS's through Large's.

Great opportunity for the XS guys out there! Something bonkers off-the-rack!
