^^ Mike, I've got that camera coming in (hopefully) next week, so I should be able to take some crisper shots of the collection. It won't match that killer shoe collection though!

    Hey guys,

Okay, the Spring product roll-in has started! Let's kick it off with our two Monitaly styles for the season.

    Monitaly Cotton Herringbone Blazer: $375
A really cool casual piece. The fit is spot on and the unstructured shape has a great drape and a comfortable slim fit. I especially dig the three different metal buttons on the front and the cuffs. Awesome details galore on this.

    Monitaly Hooded Field Parka: $385
This jacket is killer. Perfect fit, soft cotton body with an excellent hand. It has self elbow patches, a two-way front zip, and a raw leather hood drawstring. If you look closely, you can see that the snaps are actually backed with cowhide.

That parka does not look particularly easy to wear (maybe I just suffer from a swag deficiency), but it's awesome regardless.

That blazer looks super sweet, Mike! Especially love the buttons. I just picked up a pair of Monitaly flat-front pants from Context. I wonder how the two pieces would look together. Thoughts, or would they look silly?

Mike, I just read this: "[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Sizing on the Monitaly Cotton Herringbone Blazer is generally consistent with our in-house Epaulet shirts. If you take a medium in Epaulet shirts, then you'll most likely take a 38 in this." The chest measurement for the 38 is 19.5". Wouldn't that align with an Epaulet shirt S rather than M? Just wanted to share that I bought a few pair of the Walt pants and they are so damn nice, I don't want to wear anything else.

The wool is so soft. Fit is spot on.

My grandfather, RIP, used to show me many of his old garments from the 40s and 50s that were made in Brooklyn, with the labels proudly sewn in. Quality pieces. Never thought I'd be able to do the same, until places like Ep's came along. Thanks Mike& Adele!

Quick question.. Tried searching but couldn't find any pertinent info; do the folks who have the EP chinos consider themselves as large-in-leg? I'm 5'11, 175lbs with quite muscular legs, the thigh measurements and hem look perfect but I'm worried the knee might be a bit small (would probably be going with a 32).

Whoa, this is an awesome collection! Kind of reminds me of this classic: [IMG]
What did you do this weekend? Watch some anime porn? Maybe reblog some Sarty pics of an Italian gramps dressed way crispyer than you… Fucking amateurs. I was on my roof. Taking in some killer rays. Drinking craft beer. Snapping pics of my Aldies.

Are three button blazers back or did they never go out?

This is crispy as hell. Rocking it could be challenging. It would look dumb over a plaid shirt. Thoughts?

Yeah, you'd have to go with a solid underneath, but I can't see how wearing this would be challenging. It's more about attitude than anything. Great piece.

It's not that hard to rock. The model is only wearing staples.

    Mike,
I asked this over on the Alden thread but got mixed replies:
Is revello shell more like the strongly red color of the Brixtons on your website or more like the soft brown here: http://www.leathersoulhawaii.com/201...shortwing-lsw/

I was told that it could vary from run to run, so speaking for what you've got in shop, is the brixton color accurate? Super excited to get them but trying to figure out my other Alden purchases around what the color actually is.
