Just received my pair of the Epaulet x Staple chinos. They've got this reinforced cuff that I noticed another pair of my pants has. Can I cuff this pant or is it weird to show this thing? the purple's definitely neat, but had to ask.

Sartorially, you can do as you wish. If it feels right to you it will appear so to the rest of the world, and the opposite.

Which chino's are these? Unless I'm missing them, they aren't on the site.

I didn't know about this collab! Just insta-kopped. I really shouldn't, but I can't help myself. [IMG] And yeah, I'm going to show off the purple on the cuff fo' sho'.
Oh, and sizing question: if an Epaulet small fits me perfectly, what would I be in one of the Ashland shirts?
The best thing to do is check the measurements on Epaulet's website, but I can tell you right now that I'm a small in both Epaulet and Ashland"”they both fit great. - K

Gave my Smiths a soak last night to get rid of any shrinkage -- minor though it might be. There was a ton of indigo loss in the tub, a real cool teal color. After drying they're not stiff as a board. I'm looking forward to trying them back on and breaking them in.

I can't believe they are still $175. I thought they went on sale.

Can anyone comment on the weight of this shirt?

    Is it flannelish?

Exactly; it's flannel-ish. It's very soft but it's also pretty lightweight. The 10% wool makes it wear warmer than the weight of the fabric alone would make you expect, though.

Does anyone have a pic of them wearing the charcoal flannel shirt? I'm interested in picking it up when I make an order after I get my tax refund, I'm curious how the flannel goes with the button down collar because it's something I'm not used to seeing together.

Can it be worn in warmer temps or no?

I'm the wrong person to ask. I almost never wear a shirt as a single layer unless its hotter than 85 out. I have a ton of white V-neck undershirts and I wear one almost every day. I've worn this shirt when it's been in the 70s and felt fine, but that's me.

The shoes are Keds. They were a gift but I think she got them at Steven Alan.

I'd say anything up to 72°F or so"”you know, room temperature. It's warmer than, say, Oxford cloth, but like StanVan said, it's not heavy at all.
