Hmm never experienced shrinkage of any kind on my tweed Walts. Whatever works for you, though. I obviously agree that the tweed Walts are fantastic for cold weather! If I lived in a windy/foggy place like SF I'd wear them there too.

    Which tweeds, tricky?

Loden with Burnt Orange Windowpane Southwick FF Jacket

Not sure if anyone has posted this particular makeup, but this is becoming one of my favorite jackets of all time. It surprisingly goes great with everything including grey trousers, tweeds, and jeans. I got a lot of compliments on it at the Styleforum meetup in San Francisco, so whoever picked out the fabric, cheers to you!

Saw you wearing that at the Ghurka event - I agree, that jacket is awesome.

That Loden jacket is fantastic, Eddie. That's a fabric I'd spring for in a FF run.

I have not noticed any pilling at all. That may be because it's a wool/poly blend. I think it's a great fabric.
Wow that looks really fantastic. Fits you so well. And a great photo too.

I've had my Barena for about a year and a half. I'm terrible with hanging it up and I've never had it dry cleaned. After about a year it started to develop a bit of pilling, but it's minimal, and nothing compared to a lambswool sweater. A sweater shaver would knock that out, but it doesn't bother me.

@eddiemczee Seriously, that jacket looks boss as hell! That's definitely one of the best FF fits that I've seen.

Yes, you shouldn't have any shrinkage at all on the tweeds with just dry cleaning. It's fine to dry clean them first, but not necessary for fit IMO. Enjoy them!

    Thanks for the compliments everyone!

This was my first sports coat that I've purchased from Epaulet (along with another FF Southwick jacket). I ordered a 40S and one of the best things that I found is that the sleeves fit me perfectly, without the need for any tailoring! I ended up taking the jacket to my tailor to have it taken in a little bit at the side seams to give it a slimmer silhouette and looks like the results paid off.

I'll try to take a picture of the other jacket that I got, sand with French blue windowpane, sometime in the future. I also have a Navy Hopsack MTO that should be arriving any day now and I can't wait for it to get here.

Thought I would toss up a, somewhat, proper fit pic of the Wilshire jeans:

I also would put my name on any list for future jackets in the that green (with orange) fabric.

Olive tree herringbone tweed and grey herringbone tweed. I think the Rudy's that should be coming are a greyish tweed too but I forget what I ordered exactly.
