Is it possible to do alterations(shortening sleeves and supressing waist) on an LBM unconstructed jacket?

    Can you shorten working cuffs?

Would probably depend on how generous the sleeve is to start and how much you need taken up.

Yes, but functional buttons are pricier to work with.

Thanks, all very good things to know for the future. It always blows me away how little I know about such things and how much I an learn from the members on here. Thanks!

Just saw a few of the new FF sportcoats! They look great. Am curious about the navy cashmere pique - how does that particular fabric handle? How sturdy is it, is there anything I should keep in mind with that particular option, how does it wear differently from other sportcoats?

    Thanks!

The LBM blazer's working buttons are quite far up from the sleeve cuff, compared to other brands. If you need the sleeves shortened less than an inch, your tailor might be able to do it without doing it from the shoulder, which should be much cheaper. The question is whether the tailor would be able to replicate the pick stitch that's along the cuff (if you care about that).

Sportcoats are best ordered at 7AM, before the rest of the day has a chance to distract you.

Mike/Matt, any chance of a natural light shot of the Scottish Light Tattersall, or is the swatch already back at Southwick?

Haha, I was thinking the exact same thing. I was hoping it would fly under everyone's radar and I'd get a crazy deal on it. Well, looks like you and I would have sabotaged each other's ambitions in that regard anyways.
