Anyone have fit pics of the steel mist trousers?
Just want to let you know, none of us forgot about the contest. We got a little snowed under with the EPLA explosion and last minute Christmas sales. We'll get it going soon!
How much can the thighs of the walt trousers be let out? If at all.
There's a decent amount of fabric available, I've had mine let out somewhere between a half and three quarters of an inch
Was thinking of pulling the trigger on the navy captoe boots, but between this morning and now the size 12 sold out. Oh well - my wallet is thankful, but I'm pretty sure I'll regret not kopping them later - the navy and brass eyelets just look so damn good together. Wear the hell out of them, mystery size 12 wearer!
Does this mean the thighs can be taken in as well?
Yup, that's about the seam allowance on all of our trousers.
Nice! Enjoy those gloves and thanks for picking them up!
The XL shirt is meant to correspond to roughly a 42R in sizing.
Measuring t-shirts is difficult and a bit misleading. If you've never done it before then it's kind of crazy - just laying the shirt down in different ways is enough to give you 0.5" of variance either way.
I can tell you guys that we've sold about 20 of them in the Santa Monica store since Friday and I've seen a lot of different guys try them on. They do fit slim, but they shouldn't be too tight when you have it on. If you like the fit of our shirts, then you can order the tees in the same size with confidence. I can't say that it will work for everyone, but it's worked very well so far for everybody that I've seen put them on.
What'd ya get?
Absolutely. It's very easy to take in the thighs, the knees, the calves, etc. Flip a pair of trousers inside out and you can see the seam allowances down each leg. They can be let out according to how much fabric you see there. Taking them in is easy - all your tailor does is split the seam and then re-sew it closer to the leg.
Love my SS gift! Will get great use when we make some fish tacos later this week!
Anyone have any ideas for size 10 gloves?
How come their glove only go to 9?
This was the first year they did gloves and Mike went with the most common sizes. Drop him a line during the summer and ask about what they are expecting for F/W 14 and I am sure they can add some larger sizes.
Seattle's own bigspoon jam set....locally grown and made jam's. Seasalt/Carmel flavors
Alright guys, I wanted to get some feedback from you before I order my next pair of MTO pants. Keeping in mind that I'm in SoCal, which one of the following would you choose?
Grey Wool Corduroy Rivets
Chestnut Corduroy Walts
Question for the older vets in here: what's the oldest pair of shoes or boots you have?
I only started buying fine footwear several years ago so not too long on my end.
Gents -- is the Callenish tweed overcoat too funky for the Corporate office? I'm in a charcoal grey or navy suit four days a week.
