I highly doubt it. Looking at my Walts, there wouldn't be enough excess material in the seat and waist to accomplish that. Not to mention how tight they may be in the thighs and crotch for you.

Any word/progress on the Secret Santa idea? I haven't heard anything...

I know it was briefly touched on, but if the contest deadline is extended, that would be amazing. I wanted to take some photos, but I've just been super slammed at work.

Thanks for the feedback! I was afraid that it wasn't going to work.

I know, I LOVE it. It's only available via special order, and we don't have too much cloth left. I could probably make 2-3 of them if anyone's interested. The price on that was $895 and it's an MTO piece that can be made to you specs. If anyone is interested then please drop us an email.
Yup, this jacket was made with hacking pockets. I've been pretty taken with them lately.
Love the trousers! You are rocking those Sandy Orange Tweeds hard as hell!

Hacking pockets are pretty much mandatory on a POW suit, I think. I'm actually bummed they weren't an option on my first few suits as I totally would have gone for them (except on the DB, I guess).

Does anyone know where I can get Carmina's boot laces? I went through the originals on my burgundy shell Steinbeck short wings in one winter. I'm afraid the spares won't last.

The boot laces sold by shoelacesexpress.com are too thick. Carmina's laces are about 2 mm--less than an eighth of an inch.

I need 40" laces, but a bit longer is fine. Any leads would be appreciated.

    +1

Carmina's laces are absolutely terrible. Combined with razor blade speed hooks, I average a few months before stealing from a nearby Alden box.

To make this relevant to this particular thread, surely the vendors can put pressure on Carmina to convince them to correct what surely is an embarrassing problem?

No time for a fancier pic, so I'll repost this one for my raffle entry :)
Too much competition to hope that I could compete for the grand prize.

Question for the experts- I'm usually between a 42-44 jacket size, so when I saw the L.B.M.s in the sale section I threw caution to the wind and picked up a 42...the largest size stocked. It's a bit tight on the shoulders/armpits. Has anyone had theirs' taken out or this not an option.? I took it to my tailor today (granted her area of expertise is more military based) and she didn't think it would be possible. Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

+100. My laces were ripped to shreds on the speed hooks in no time, then the replacement laces met a speedy end. This was probably within 10 - 12 wears of my boots. I recently bought a ton of Alden flat waxed laces. They are holding up well.
