sounds like it's the people who did a Carmina MTO at some point in the past that got the email.

Yes should have been clearer, it was the detailed group MTO update email Mike mentioned earlier. I didn't post the link as I'm not sure how they want to handle it as the email is intended as a update

I've got a serious jones for a pair of jumper boots with a commando sole, but like someone else above am far too impatient to jump in on that current preorder. So bummed I missed out on those kudos. Anything coming up here in the near future that's at all comparable?

Yes, sorry for any confusion here guys.

About six weeks ago we put together a separate email list for our Carmina and VASS group buy customers. It's mostly to send monthly updates with production status and new styles. And we're giving them advance notice on any footwear markdowns or factory seconds which become available.

All of the factory seconds styles are now in the main SALE SECTION. Some pretty killer deals on those!

We're hoping to get a large delivery tomorrow - which will be a bunch of Group Buy styles and a few new stock items.

Thank you sir! That's a great donation for the charity.

You said it. I am only two days away from more double-doubles!

We've got t-shirts coming out in 2-3 weeks. I haven't started work on undershirts yet, but we'll see what we can do with that in the Spring.

How recently does one have to have participated in a Carmina group buy to be on the list?

Quote:Out of curiosity, I wonder what's the monthly/ quarterly clothing budget for the guys in this thread. Black Friday spending is considered an anamoly, but even with that taken out of the equation, purchases on highly quality items can rack up high-triple figure or four figure sums easily. I'm looking forward to the group-buys as well. Here goes my budget, haah.

JezeC, I allow myself up to about 30% of my monthly paycheck. I'm trying to slowly reduce this number (avoiding impulse buys).

    Hey Guys,

Does anyone tie their Epaulet Ties with a double four in hand knot. I'm not tall and with a typical 58" tie I need the DFIH to take up the extra length. Just wondering if the knot still turns out well with the silks and the wools.

    Thanks for any input!
