Well that makes sense. I guess I can just wear the green trousers I already have!

Sorry, Mike, I should have been more specific. I meant additional colors/fabrics to the rivet chino/washed smith jeans (the ones you offer in gunmetal, caramel duck and navy duck). I thought I recalled you mention something about that a while back.

Haha, you've got a good collection going!

And you made a great suggestion - I'd actually be totally open to running a green or grey cast denim if I can source a reliable amount of it. Or we can try doing a green overdye. It would be a cool effect, as the jean would make up a very dark forest green, and as you wore it the green would wash out, revealing indigo below. When we get the fit set up for overdyeing then I'll run a bunch of different color samples to show you guys.

Ah, good question. We were planning to reorder that piece in Caramel and I'm considering adding it in Moss as well. Any colors that you guys would like to see?

Wearing my Fitzgerald Wingtips and Nightshade Flannel at the Styleforum Trunkshow yesterday, I'm sure I'll be in something EP today as well:

^ Very cool Rob, I'm sure the trunk show is going well!

For the Rudy (Bond) denim, is the fit going to be close to an exact copy of the Rudy trouser fit? Or will there be some small adjustments to make it more appropriate for denim? I love my Rudy trousers, but I think the exact same cut in denim would have a rise that's slightly high and a leg opening that's too big. Hopefully there are a few small tweaks. I'll try the first iteration to see if that works for me, if it's too tight then I'll hold out for the Bond fit!

Can Rivet Chino MTOs be done in the five-pocket jean configuration?

^. That would be cool, too. I'd buy the Smith jean in moss, Mike. I'd also go for them in fatigue, black and the lighter colors. Already have the caramel and gunmetal.

Green overdye sounds great. Forest green and I are on excellent terms.

So, yesterday I realized I never got a shirt that I ordered, so I just checked the tracking which says it was delivered weeks ago. The only thing I can imagine is someone stole it out of my mailbox. But hey, the idea of some hoodlum rocking out in Epaulet Blackwatch makes up for it. Kinda. Just a little. Not really.

Damn the potential for overdye denim sounds great (especially an overdyed black jacket...I know, I'm obsessing!)

And MOSS or some other olive tone for the Smith reorder! That's exactly what I've been looking for and haven't been able to find in a fit I like, which the Smith is.

This is exactly what I had in mind w/r/t the coin pocket. :thumbs-up:

These just came in the mail yesterday, purchased against the advice of the "should I or shouldn't I buy" thread:

The French blue color is a little more muted in person than in the pictures on the web site, IMO. There's just enough grey in the mix to keep them safely out of "silly pants" territory.

Those pants are fantastic -- I love my pair and find they're great for summer and can be paired well with a sport coat. Also, it's crazy how much the cut of the Stark has changed.

Agreed. I have the older Stark, and I think it sits at least 3 inches longer. I love the backdrop as well!

I love the duck fabric. I may have to pick up a navy sooner or later.

The shape of those jeans really fit you well, Chris.
