Mike - Is the weight and hand on the Japanese Twill's similar to the Petrol Walt?

If you order a thicker fabric for trousers (e.g. flannel or tweed), does the size take into account the thickness of the fabric, or do you need to size up?

In almost every instance in all the Epaulet items I've bought over the years, thicker pant fabrics are a little roomier than thinner pant fabrics in the same size. This goes for both the Walt/Rudy and Rivets. A super 120s Rudy will always fit me tighter than a flannel or donegal tweed. I have the super 120s brown houndstooth trousers, and I had to get them let out the max amount in the thighs to make them wearable without being skin tight, but the same size in a pair of herringbone flannels fit much better without having to let out fabric in the legs.

Received my first Epaulet purchase today "Slim Walt Trouser Burgendy Hopsack Wool" . I ordered a size up (sz. 36) like I usually do due to my big thighs and they fit great.Love the pants! I just have to take in the waist and shorten the length.

I plan on getting a pair of Slim Walt Trousers Nori Tropical Wool before the year ends. The pale green color on those pants are lovely.

Any chance you have the Alt Wien Scotchgrain Carminas (UK10/US11) and Olive Ripstop Rivet Chinos (33) available to try on in either of your NYC locations?

Is there material available for special Walt order in either the Olive Tree Herringbone UK Tweed or Mocha Lambswool Flannel? I can't decide which to order. The tweed looks a bit more casual, which is good for me, but the flannel will keep me warmer in the DC winter. Are both of those going to be regularly stocked fabrics, or do I need to jump on one before it's gone forever?

Wow. Perfection. The chelsea boots work so well with a more casual suit and the suit itself is about as perfectly tailored as I have ever seen "in the wild." The overlapping ticket pocket is a nice touch, is that some maker's signature detail that I am just not cool enough to recognize?

PS- I'm jealous that you get enough stuff from EP that you can recognize all the guys' handwriting.

Question for SoCal guys. I'm ready to purchase my next pair of Walts, and would really like a pair of Wool ones. Out of the current selection, which would you go with to work with our weather?

Note that I already own a pair of hopsack-like trousers. I love Nightshade, but it's sold out in my size, and I'm weary that they might be too warm for my tastes (I tend to sweat easily).

Ok so my Rivets shipped Saturday, or at least I was emailed that they did, but the tracking information has displayed the same message the entire time which is that only the electronic shipping info has been received. No updates since Saturday. It says Priority 2 Day mail. Anybody know if this is just USPS being difficult?

From experience, you get a notification if they printed the label on Saturday and boxed it up. No shipping on Sundays and they are closed on Mondays, so if they ship it today, then you'll see an update in USPS.
