I think the length is fine when he straighten his back. Neurtino was probably just trying to fit everything into the photo.

Well, the jacket is definitely designed to be trim. I am 5'11" and wear a large. To me it could be a bit longer but I think it looks okay when zipped up and viewed from a proper (not knee-level) height.
On a related note, this item probably won't fit some body types. Its armholes are pretty high and the sleeves are slim. I had to size up from my usual all-around medium in EP. I vaguely remember some modifications are to be introduced in the newer restocks (or was that about the CPO jacket? [IMG])

How warm is the jacket? What's the coldest weather you think you would want to wear it in:
    a) over a normal weight shirt
    b) over a sweater

Hey Mike - You guys don't happen to have any more of the snuff suede belts do you? If not, what would you recommend to go with the Alden snuff suede chukka boots? Thanks man.

I am 6' and 175lbs, have that jacket in medium and wear a 38r coat. It is definitely the shortest jacket that I have and barely falls below my belt. I only wear it if I am tucking my shirt in. That being said, I really like it. I think it is hard to say exactly how warm a jacket is because there are so many variables, but I would say layered, maybe down to the high 30s and w just a shirt somewhere in the high 40s... Haven't warn mine this year but that is what I recall. It is a little heavier than the CPO.

Also, the details are great! I love the leather band just inside the pockets and on the sleeves and collar.

Yup, the infamous Joel K! He's a karaoke maniac. He's got a new clothing line too, which is pretty cool. I have a few of his t-shirts... http://www.echoparksurfsquad.com/ And thanks! I'm trying to be healthy out here, hit the gym a few times a week. Eat some salads every now and then. Now that Summer is officially over, I should probably drop the polo and shorts outfit. I look like I just got off my shift as a bartender in Chelsea.
You said it. I ordered one for myself, and it will officially be my first vest.
Maybe. It first depends on your size - if you're a 40 or 42 then it could work. Smaller than that and I'd be pretty sure that it's too short. Also important is the length of your torso. I'm 5'10" but I take a 41S in the body because I have a relatively short torso. If the sleeves are too short then they can easily be let out, but the body length can't be changed. If you need help, drop an email to matt[at]epauletnewyork.com - he's the tailored clothing maestro.

    Awesome! That's a sharp look!
Yeah, unfortunately we're completely tapped out of snuff suede belts. I don't have an exact match, but the caramel calf or the sand suede is a nice compliment to snuff shoes.

Glad that you like it! I can't wait for this season's jackets to come in. We found that last year's were a bit on the short side for some customers, so the body length has been extended by one inch for this year's run.

    You know it!

Epaulet; do you have any of the tyrol plain toe blucher at the SM store?

And the alpine grain, would you call it reddish brown? Or redder and more of a maroon?
