@Epaulet - Thanks for the advice RE cold water & stretch on the denim point collar. I got almost all the sleeve length back. Not quite so much on the shirt length, but that wasn't as big of a deal. The shirt is in good shape now.

the rivets are the first ones i got since you guys changed the fit and switched over to the new buttons. really like it. i think it has a higher rise and it fits more comfortably. duck canvas appears to be the perfect material for a pair of chinos. looking at the moss now.
When did the new fit start? How can I tell which one I have?
I love my rivets, I just wish they had a higher rise so my shirts would stay tucked.
I have Walts as well, but I would probably just prefer a rivet with a higher rise.

Before and After contest trousers came in today and they are as awesome as expected. Headed to the tailor on Friday, can't wait to start wearing them. Thanks again.

^ afaik, the new model actually doesn't have rivets.  they're horn buttons.

Yep and also have fabric in the waist to be let out.

Have a couple pair of Rudys I hardly wear that I'm considering having converted into the Walt fit (which I love). Worth the trouble (really love the marled wool on one of them)? Or just sell them.

If you love the fabric and it's something that you don't think you'll be able to get any time soon, then it's absolutely worth it.

I've been going back and forth on picking this up for almost a year and I almost missed out. I'm gonna have to give you guys my number so you can text me when stuff goes on sale.

Just a couple questions, hopefully I didn't miss anything pertinent:
Will there be any leather Alden Alt Wiens on the horizon?
Any chance of a peak lapel blazer or suit? Peak lapel double-breasted would be baller. I guess I'm not sure if this falls into the Epaulet style of things.
