I picked up a few pairs on the closeout, and have not worn this pair. NWOT. I have not altered or washed. It is a nice medium weight, but I don't know the specific denim name (some were able to identify from the thread color). Free shipping in Priority Mail Tyvek envelope.
Standard EPLA 36 Measurements with my comments:
Waist: 36.75" (more like 37)
Front Rise: 11.5
Back Rise: 15.25
Thigh: 12.75 (more like 13)
Knee: 9.25 (more like 9)
Leg Open: 8.25 (more like 8)
The Wilshire is our premium selvedge jean made entirely in Downtown LA. Each pair is made from hard-wearing materials and meticulously crafted in one of the finest denim factories in North America.
It has a slim-straight fit, mid-rise, traditional five pocket configuration and antique brass hardware. The rear pockets have been reinforced with hidden rivets for added durability. A subtly embossed "epla" rear patch made of genuine Horween Chromexcel finishes it off.
Measurements & Sizing
EPLA denim is true to size and consistent with our other trouser and chino fits. If you find either Walt or the Rivet Chino a bit roomy, try sizing down. Each pair is pre-washed and pre-shrunk, but will stretch some and mold to your body. Your new jeans should fit snugly at first, but will relax and fit perfectly after a few wears.
All measurements are taken with the jean laid flat. Waist is measured from one end of the waistband to the other, then doubled. Front rise is measured from the crotch seam to the top of the front waistband. Back rise is measured from the crotch seam to the top of the rear waistband. Upper thigh is measured from the center of the crotch seam straight across to the outer seam of the thigh. Knee is measured 13" down from the crotch seam.
