Hey guys!

For the past five years, we've offered a range of jackets, pants, suits, sportcoats, and accessories in Japanese Sashiko cloth. Looking at our sales reports, we've sold nearly 10,000 individual items in this rad fabric!

Quite a lot of our Sashiko customers are right here on Styleforum, so I figured that we could use one concise thread that shows all of the new products and developments with this material. And of course we can take any questions or feedback that you have.

THE SASHIKO THROW BLANKET

Probably one of our best selling pre-orders to date. Their a great gift for yourself, your friends, family, and anyone that needed a Summer blanket that didn't make you sweat bullets. I personally took it on a beach day picnic and brought it home to wash and dry for bed after.

Made in South Central Los Angeles

With its comfort, strength, and ease... our dyed Sashiko makes for an excellent blanket. This simple throw measures 80in x 56 inches (2m x 1.4m), and it works on the couch, at the beach, or at the park. If you get it dirty, then go ahead and wash it on the hottest setting. This can stand up to anything! The color will fade wonderfully with use, and all edges are fully taped and bound. This is a classic deep indigo blue tone.

THE SASHIKO MAC COAT

One of our newest offerings is the Mac Coat featured in Sashiko at a perfect 3/4 length. Great for laying if you size up one. The fit is pretty 1 to 1 to the Doyle otherwise.

Made in South Central Los Angeles

Crafted in genuine 12oz Japanese Sashiko cotton, The Mac is a supremely comfortable and versatile 3/4 length coat. This rakish shape is easily dressed up or down, and it's perfectly at home with chinos, denim, and textured trousers. It's a handsome piece that offers a classic design in a distinctive fabric and color.

The body is unlined, fully taped at all crucial seams, and has two handwarmer pockets. The rear is single vented and the soft top point collar can be worn flat or up. The sleeves are finished without buttons and can be be easily shortened by a tailor if needed. The fit is consistent with our other designs, and buying your typical chest size will allow for layering a sweater underneath.
