I just stepped in and ordered a midnight navy 2-button suit. Should receive in approx. 4 weeks and will update with pics.

I was quite impressed with the sheer amount of customization options. We'll see how everything comes out.

Nice. Have you ever ordered a suit from them before?

No - first time. But has stellar 4.5/5.0 average reviews on Yelp (albiet probably by novices).

The suits they had in the small office showroom were pretty well put together, good canvassing, although for the base "stock" fabric that comes at that price level, it's a *bit* rough...not terrible though. Definitely wearable to the office in a high finance setting as long as its a solid color (hence my choice for solid midnight navy).

Mind if we ask price? Also, did you try purely based on Yelp reviews, or some other basis?

$495 for basic suit. $595 for basic suit + 2 custom-sized shirts + 1 custom-sized tie (limited patterns available at this price level).

Yelp reviews were stellar, and the construction I saw on the jackets in the showroom was good. I was impressed enough to go ahead and give them a shot. I'll hear back in 4-5 weeks.

I've ordered a suit from them in the past. Ordered a VBC fabric in navy. Finished product had a full canvas and construction was very good. All in cost was under $1000. Will try to post picture sometime.

Yeah, if all goes well, I see this as a "similar" / alternative to Thick as Thieves for those of us living in NYC.

You can do canvas chest piece, true half-canvas, or full-canvas.

I chose half-canvas (including lapel). They seemed like very sturdy/well-stitched suits -- the ones hanging on the racks in the showroom.

For someone who has had experience with both Enzo and LS Men's Clothing, how to the 2 compare? How about LS to other MTM for ~ $1000 in NYC?

Getting close to getting my suit back after they had to do local alterations. I can say from current fittings, it looks very good and the stitching/construction quality is better than astor & black (if that means anything to anyone).

Bumping this thread to ask: are the cuts here pretty much bespoke or more MTM? Getting fitted tomorrow and want it to be a more casual suit and a bit flashier than a traditional cut suit. Would suitsupply be more up my alley then?

Bumping this thread again. I have one shirt from Enzo (in Washington DC) that I'm pleased with and am picking up three more tomorrow. Wondering if OP (or anybody else) has experiences to share regarding Enzo.

Anyone had experience with Enzo Custom Clothiers in DC recently? Thinking of getting a VBC suit pckg with shirts/ties, but would appreciate any feedback from those who have purchased suits/shirts/ties from Enzo in the past year or so...

I ordered a suit and a couple shirts 6 months ago. Suit and shirts ended up fitting pretty well but they screwed up the suit the first time - suit had a huge collar gap. They had to send it to their tailor in NYC who was able to fix the flaw.

Customer service was good in terms of selecting materials and customizations. And they were good about providing updates on the order status. All in all, I'd use Enzo's again.

I'm curious about this too. Anyone used them in DC? Also, does anyone have any thoughts on how Enzo compares to Suitsupply's MTM program?

I use them for alterations but haven't used them for any MTM. I, too, am considering Sofios and Suitsuply for my wedding suit. Leaning towards Sofios since I've been pleased with my alterations.

Sofios MTM starts at $895 as an FYI. Not sure about Suitsupply

I started going to Enzo in DC last fall in the hopes of rebuilding the business end of my wardrobe from absolute scratch. Went with one of their starter packages and bought a charcoal suit, two shirts, and three accessories (ties and pocket squares) for around $750. I opted for a full floating canvas instead of their standard half canvas, which costs $65 per jacket to upgrade. It was that first time that I had ever purchased a suit jacket with a full natural canvas and it feels and wears very nicely and comfortably on my torso. Far more lifelike and form-fitting than a synthetic canvas. Simply put, it is fun to wear! Will definitely add to the longevity of the fabric over time. It was completely worth the upgrade.

When the suit was ready to try on, Enzo emailed me to setup an appointment to try everything on. The fit and details on everything - jacket, pants, shirts - was flawless the first time and needed absolutely no alterations. I prefer a slim tailored fit that isn't too loose anywhere on my body. The thing that helped with creating that profile was wearing my best clothes to the fitting to give Bergen a better idea of what I wanted to accomplish, and it was very helpful. The entry-level wool had a nice healthy feel to it. The entry-level shirts were decent, but the cotton fabric was prone to more wrinkles than normal because of how thin it was. A few months later, I went back for a starter closet package - one suit, one (navy) blazer (full canvas included), two trousers, and one shirt. I opted to upgrade to a slightly nicer package of wool and cotton on everything. The cost - around $1600. Once again, the fit and details on everything were exactly what I had hoped for - flawless. The quality of the shirt, in particular, was much nicer than before. I was slightly thicker, which made it less prone to wrinkling, and thus made for a more sturdy appearance.

Overall, Enzo Custom Clothiers has given me the kind of quality and experience in menswear that met and exceeded many of my expectations. I plan to be their customer in the foreseeable future, and they have my full endorsement for anyone interested in custom made clothing at very competitive costs. Two thumbs up!

I ordered my first suit from Enzo in DC recently and was very pleased by the experience. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product and trying it on, and will report back when I do. Burgan was great, and the price was fantastic.

Got my suit back, and it's fantastic. It fits perfectly. I was expecting it to need some slight alterations here and there, but honestly I was stunned by how well it fit. Enzo (and Burgan) has definitely earned my business moving forward. Highly recommended for anyone in the DC area looking for a new suit.
