Reading some of the llbean reviews, is llbean sweaters even good nowadays, how do they stack up to Brooks brothers knitted sweaters or RLPL? seems like they are competitively priced, but price also indicate they are significantly lesser in quality.

So the one I'm wearing was a Christmas present from some 4-5 years ago now and it's held up very well. That being said, compared to some other sweaters I have (SNS Herning, Barena Venezia, Inverallan) the wool is lighter, not as tightly knit and a bit scratchy. But it's still very comfortable and looks quite good, IMO, and I wear it all the time. Pilling has been minimal too, which is nice.
