If you're lucky, my 2020 commissions took 5 to 6 months.

That was due to the covid lockdown though?

My bison chukkas took from Christmas - but factory re-opened the 4th of January I think - to late march. ~3 months is realistic right now.

What is Enzo general eta for gmto? .....4 months?
Yeah not sure what the time frame is at the moment. Like @jischwar mentioned, the 2020 orders were something of an anomaly, with one of my pair taking 14 months. Of the many pairs I have commissioned from EB though, the typical wait was 4-5 months. Hopefully, they have things back on that glide path again.

MTOs are usually around 4 months but as the factory is so small, that estimate might fluctuate up and down by a few weeks depending on a number of things. C19 has had a large impact of course, they have a small work force so if 1-2 people call in sick it's going to have consequences. Massimo himself was out two weeks with C19. Also, they are closed for the larger part of August so any MTO / GMTO placed May-July will most likely be at least 4 months.

Thank you for the elaborate response!

No rush. I have a few new pairs that still need to be worn and shown love to.

Ahh good old Ferragosto where Italy is virtually shut down and everyone heads south to the beach!

Sometimes I look at the 946 last on a boot and think I really like it, and want to order a boot on the 946, then other times I see it and don’t like it. Hmmm??

It has to do a lot on the pattern. Sometimes people make styles and MTOs on last that (in my personal taste) just don't fit the pattern.

Choosing a good pattern for a chiseled last boot is a challenge.
