I brought the 4045s out for their maiden voyage today. They are ... magnificent.
They are really really beautiful in person and on feet; breaking in the top strap right now so I hopefully can wear them fully strapped in.

the back of the hunter boot is clean!! i have 2 pairs of the hunter boots, both in suede shaft and leather upper, and the way the back of the ... side leather joins with the back leather is not clean at all. Hard to explain.. I'll have to post a picture

I had originally seen @ecwy with these EB hunter boots and ever since then I had been waiting patiently for a restock, although ever so often I would tag @Leaves if there would be a restock coming.
During this time of waiting, I had slowly start to fall in love with split toe derby. Being in a love affair with EB at the time, I was super stoked to know that EB and skoak had come up with a faux reverse split toe.

I bought these some time ago but forgot to post a photo. Model 3579 in Hidro Volpe on the 2102/b last. My first experience with this last and it fits my feet extremely well. It feels like a slightly narrower and more elongated version of the 946 last.
