They look great. Personally I would prefer regular bar lacing on those. Are they vitello etrusco?

They are Vitello Meleze.

Bar lacing may look good but it takes 5 extra minutes to get into. I actually like it better this way

I think EB does dressy boots really well
The austerity boot pattern has really grown on me. Maybe we need another run lol [emoji50]

That’s the model that I had problems with.

If they ended up fixing the pattern I could be interested in a GMTO, especially in suede, grain, or black calf.

^^ that's pretty interesting boot/chukka/monk. Curious to see how it looks on feet and also if you have to undo both buckles to put them on?
I might be interested in a GMTO for this if we get a interesting leather option (like hatchgrain, pin grain etc.)
