Wow these are stunning! There is something about Enzo Bonafe shoes that makes them unique. I dont know what it is, probably the passion that goes into making them...

It's my first pair from EB and I am quite impressed. They are very well made and a beautiful last.

Such a beautiful shoe.

Enzo Bonafe is known for its handwelt right? Just like Vass.

Anyone has experience with their Blake stitched shoes?
1. Is there less handwork involved?
2. Is the quality less compared to their handwelt ones?
3. Less value for money? I believe their blakes are priced lower though.

Kind regards

My blue monks are blake stitched. They are lighter. They are quite a lot cheaper (around $150? I guess) and it's really not a big difference unless you want specifically hand welted stuff. They can be resoled a few times, but with a large enough rotation it's not really an issue... They are neater. I won't get any shoes handwelted unless I wanted the chained norvegese.

Do they use heel leather stiffener in blake stitched shoes just like their handwelted line?

nice looking boots there, congrats!! I'd be very interested in your thoughts on the leather quality (didn't have great success with horween russian grain in the past from carmina) and how it holds the dye/polish with some mileage..

What happened to them? I have another horween hatchgrain on the way.

I got a heel stiffener that's extended up to the arch to give me more arch support in both my handwelted and my blake stitched.
