    So the pair I posted had "heavy antiquing" (burnishing) applied to get close to that shade. Roger has his collection professionally shined and I think his guy darkened them a little more to get to the wonderful color in that picture.

    Not a problem @ThunderMarch . I wasn't aware that a decision for 74945 was already taken, since you had suggested 74945 and 946 in the beginning (the 946 is available in E width). I'll watch this GMTO closely and then maybe do a MTO myself on 946, as I've done before.

    Sure, well I'd wanted to give more options for a start since I didn't have a real preference but it seemed that most of the guys are keen on 74945 so I'm going with the majority.
    Thanks once again for your interest!

    You should try Saintcrispin 8uk F width on Classic last.

    @TtownMD I actually really like the fit of the 8.5UK F on St.C classic last, fits really well. To add something of note with relevance to the EB thread, I can add that the 804 last in 8UK fits well per a recent pair, though I comfortably wear 8.5UK in 946E, 946F (with loose heel) and 363MOD.

    Oh I am same size as you I also take 8uk on 804 last and have 8.5uk on Saint Classic last but feel 8uk would be better fit

    @Bertel
    I have some great news. I've just been in touch with SoleGarb.
    Though 74945 is not conventionally available in the E width, if we are able to garner 5 interests, the 6th (you), would be able to get the model in E width.
    SoleGarb is confident of getting Bonafe to modify their existing last down to an E width.
    FWIW, I have both the 74945 and the 946 last, I take the same size in both but feel that the fit around the toe box / heel / instep are similar, though the 946 seems slightly shorter. So I think this will work for you.

    @mavere Can I check if you are still in on this GMTO?

    @CLTesquire I know that you are still waiting on some stuff so just keep this in view ok?
    I am definitely still in. And I know @stephenaf2003 is also very keen.
    @wooksb how do you feel at this moment?

    These are more pictures of the complete make-up:

    All long time lurker. Just a silly question but assume for gmto the leather colour can only be as agreed by all participants?

    For any GMTO, the details must be exactly identical for all pairs within the GMTO (including colour), except for size, and in very specific circumstances, width.

    Oh don't worry, this GMTO is still very much in my thoughts.

    @ThunderMarch, please count me in. I'm a regular width. Sorry, what's the cost again?

    Thanks!
    The cost will be:
    Boot itself - $625 USD
    Hatch grain - $50 USD upcharge
    Shipping is free within the USA, but for other regions of the world, SoleGarb will let you know individually.
    I am thinking of a Vibram topy sole (though I can also do without it) - $15 USD

    Thanks! I'd like to have the sole Topy'd as well. Can it be an add on, or does everybody have to have Topy as well? If the latter, I can live without it if not all would go for Topy

    Most welcome.
    Well, it has to be agreed upon by everyone, so let's see what the majority feels like?

    @ThunderMarch
    This is excellent news, thank you so much! I would love to be the 6th in this case [IMG]
    Yes, Bonafè have made the 804 last in E width for me before, although it is said not to be generally available in this width, they can do that.
    I don't have a pair on the 74945 yet but I too would expect that it should fit me well.

    Since Fall and Winter here in Germany usually are not too nice (at least to leather soles [IMG] ), I would want to opt for some kind of rubber soles as well. Topys would be a good compromise, and fine for me.

    Thanks for confirming your continued interest.
    In fact, on my count, we have 4 confirmed:
    @wooksb
    @stephenaf2003
    @mavere
    and me.
    @CLTesquire is keen but considering.
    I'll just wait up for one more, and we're good to go with 5 of us, plus you in E width.
