Thanks to you and Dale both. If memory serves, you are a 10.5 EEE in most

Thanks to you and Dale both.

IIRC, in most of the lasts you wear a 10.5 EEE, I wear a 10.5E. Did you order your 804 G width in UK 9.5? If so, and if the fit works for you, the 9.5F would likely work for me.

    Thanks again

I'm a 11E in Alden Trubalance, and can quite comfortably wear a UK11F on the 946 last. A little initial pain for the left pinky but not bad in the long run.

You may have seen the question in the Skoak thread but would anyone be interested in another GMTO of the black stich cap on the 804 last as available on the Skoak site this past January? Thanks to many of you and the nice folks at Skoak, I think I just might have my size dialed in.

Received my seemless black stitch cap GMTO yesterday in G width. Happy to report that the fit is very snug but good. Im not sure how people size down for the 804 last from the 946 last, however. They seem very comparable in length.

I'm liking this last quite a bit. Thinking about MTOing some kind of dress boot on it. Maybe a Chelsea.

Plenty of pics of this makeup swimming around SF, so I'll spare the bandwidth.

    Happy sunday!

Pepper, does that mean you took the same size in the 804 and the 946 but a G vs a H, respectively? Thanks.

Yeah both size 10 for length. The shapes are different enough that it actually works.

I'll post some comparison pics tomorrow.

Has anyone here ever had a Chelsea made on the 804? I'm thinking about it now but can't locate any pics.

    Those are so incredible. Congrats!
Maybe it's time to make it happen? I'll make a proper post on the Enzo GMTO thread and try to shepherd folks if there's a little bit of interest. I was thinking about a Chelsea on 804 in some kind of dark brown leather. I think we'd need at least 5 in order to get multiple widths, right? I know folks are going Chelsea crazy right now in the Skoak thread, but maybe this would be a good alternative for folks like me who are priced out of GG territory.

Don't think G&G has anything over Enzo to begin with. At least not anything that justifies the price differential.

There's been some discussion of a Enzo Chelsea on the 804 last recently, would anyone be interested in the following makeup?

    Enzo Chelsea Boot
    #5 Hidro Brass Suede
    #4 Natural Calf Lining
    804 Last
Bombé rounded waist (AFAIK this is the handwelted waist, not the japanese blake stitched one)
    270 degree handwelt
    millerighe sol

If we can made it a med to dark brown calf leather, AND get 5 people so I can get a G width, I'm in! :)

For the record, I don't need the waist or welt to be super slim. Plus, rubber sole is ok, though I think I prefer leather with tips.

I'd really recommend a rounded waist for the 804 last. It just looks phenomenal. I much prefer the shape of my black oxfords with a rounded waist over my spectators without it.

Unfortunately I'm not particularly interested in another brown boot, I have way too many! Although something in a red/burgundy would fill a hole in my lineup, like a #5 betis ruby calf, #8 vitello yoko calf, or #12 hidro marasco suede...

Yeah I agree, it looks great on an Oxford. But on a boot I could go either way.

Meh, it may be my best bet to go solo. It's not that much more.
