@CanadaCal - count me in for any future discussion on a 946E GMTO - I'm not creative though...so I'm open to ideas.

How would you say Enzo bonafe narrow last compare to let say AE park avenue C or B width?

@TtownMD - this is hard to say, because the lasts are pretty different. I'm usually a standard US D width across the board 9.5US, though I do have a narrower heel. I have a normal instep and I prefer the toebox to have extra room. The 946E is closer to the standard US D width in my opinion, due to the wide heel cup and the high instep of the 946F. The toebox could use a bit more room in the 946E, but its manageable for me. 946E would be perfect for me with a wider F width toebox, but with the 946E heel and instep. To me that version approximates a more standard D width.

That being said, to your AE question, I fit a 9.5D park avenue, but the fit isn't great because the toebox is too tight and the heel cup is too loose. 10C park avenue fits slightly better at the heel, but is a bit loose overall, though I have better toebox room. It isn't a great last for me. I don't these lasts have a lot in common to be honest, so not sure if that helps. I haven't tried B width, so I can't speak to that.

Sounds good, lots of models to choose from of course. I could go many ways, will have to think about this a bit more will be my first Enzo.

946E would work on these IMO.

I might be interested in a Chelsea boot of some type...my almost perfect fit is the Simpson last.

How does anybody feel about a chelsea on the 804 round toe last?

I'm interested in theory, but I'm waiting to get my black stitch cap to see how well I can fit the 804.

I'm not sure if the 804 presents itself well on a chelsea, but maybe the guys at Skoak can showcase something. Also, the 74945 is kind of a chiseled round last, so maybe that last would work well too.

I think a chelsea would be very sleek looking if you got it on the 804 with a rounded waist (either the bombé or the blake japanese waist). Not as much without a rounded waist.

The new arrivals got unboxed today. Per usual, it was a great experience with EB/Skoak.

Thanks! Lama shaft on these. It's a bit thinner than peccary.

Does ANYONE who wears a US E width wear Bonafe shoes? It seems much of the conversation in this thread is centered on "sleek, sleeker, sleekest." I'm looking for a simple stitchcap oxford and am trying to determine whether I'd have to go MTO if I buy a Bonafe.

On the contrary. You should be able to wear almost all of the Enzo lasts, granted you can find your model you won't have to MTO.
You have many more options than the narrower footed crowd.

An E width in which US maker? There's a wide gulf between E widths in Alden and AE, for example.

AE 5-65 (though in an Oxford EE is better), 7-97, 108, and 1 last. Also Alden Aberdeen

Hmm, I think you might be cool in the bigger last's like 804 or 363Mod.

I'm an EEE in AE, an E or EE in Alden, and I take an H width in the Enzo 946. I'll let you know about the 804 G when it comes in.

    Enzo lasts are TTS IMO.

    I take a G width in 946 and 804.

Also, I am an E, EE, or EEE in Alden or AE as well. Last dependent.

    Thanks.
