I was informed by Lorenzo an hour back that Horween sent all leathers stamped - so all are hatch and all hatch is possible in the three leathers.

So an Armagnac body with a color 6 shaft might be possible ?

Waiting to hear back from Lorenzo - I assume he'll email invoice to secure my deposit. I'm in, but still debating color. I was saving Armagnac for Carmina's version when it's available in a few weeks. But now I'm tempted to skip Carmina and go with Armagnac for this GMTO

No I believe the bottom most one - is the bronze which has the green hues

Would it be possible to get the make-up in all hatch grain? Know there wasn't enough for both the uppers & shaft to bee in hatch grain recently.

@kevenmee. I believe it’ll be all hatch. All the shell that came in was stamped. There’s no smooth options in the make up suggested! Definitely the time to pick up!

You can reach out to Lorenzo to ask but I don’t believe there will be a further price reduction.

Thanks @JayoFelo - there’s no great rush as I won’t be in a position to go ahead for a few months yet. How does the custom last process work?

@CrashBurner no worries. I may end up going a different route based on the Hatch Armagnac I just saw for the Balways. As for the custom last process, I'm working with Lorenzo now. He's basically trying to find a last that is close enough to work and proposed send out a few test pairs. Adjustments would be made from there. And then an initial pair would be made. He suggested calf or similar prior to making exotics. Fingers cross this works out.

Really liking that bronze hatch grain. I'm considering joining the GMTO as well, but I already have a pair of Balways on the way.

Since we are close to being able to form second group of 4, is there any consensus on a possible alternative make up? I would prefer no storm welt and a lower profile sole. I think a sleeker look fits the hatch grain aesthetic.

Also very interested in an apron toe or split toe boot, but realize that's much different than the boot being discussed.
