Some would say there is no such thing as too much green! I really like the shade of loden that has been coming out in the various MTOs from Skoak.

do you have any other pics of the loden on make ups?

So far we have, tentatively:
@IGotId
@laufer
@sleepyinsanfran
for the Bonafe apron toe boot:
Specs so far:
804 last,
some non-grain leather (meleze calf?),
vibram sole,
flat or reverse hand-welt.

I would like to propose:
Antique brass eyelets (with or without speedhooks - either works for me) I'd prefer speedhooks
Fully lined with vegetable-tanned (natural) lining (not loud color linings, which are chrome tans) ok with me
Pull tab (leather or fabric) either is fine, would prefer leather
Meleze calf (or etrusco maybe?) I don't remember the names but I'm interested in a mid-brown without a shade of burgundy/red
Shaft in matching suede (I'm fine with grain or matching calf as well) I'd prefer matching calf!

I pulled these from a google search - they all appear to be Skoak make-ups. They may have more, but I haven't seen anything solely made up in loden suede.

So far we have, tentatively teh following 4, with preferences (if different on not mentioned above):
@IGotId
norvegese welt, speedhooks, leather pulltab, shaft in matching calf, vibram sole
@laufer
?
@Odd I/O
?
@sleepyinsanfran

The new pattern surcharge is 4000 sek, which will be split between participants. @Leaves hasnt replied to @Odd I/O 's question about whether this will be exclusive, or the pattern will then get reused for free by all retailers across the world. I think an exclusive boot (perhaps a skaok exlcusive?) would be cool, even though we can easily cover the surcharge with enough particupants (and I think an apron toe boot will have enough peoople)

OK. noted.

Btw below are some pics of 804-last boots from the bonafe (appreciation?) thread. Not only do they look great, but I am somewhat relieved by the average sized instep on the 804 boot (all other bonafe boot lasts seem to have that bump at the instep which just goes empty for several people (@peppercorn78 ?)
Thought I'd share some pics of my EB GMTO boots after they've seen some wear and a couple of layers of wax. They've served me very well on a couple of special occasions since I got them in February.

As long as it's not shell, Alden shouldn't take too long. If it's shell, you're doomed.

Any interest?
