    Update on my GMTO ideas

    1) Enzo Bonafe 3579 - should be roughly $575 with free EB shoe trees
    [IMG]
    Claret Museum Calf
    946 Last (G Width)
    Single leather sole
    Black calf lining
    Black edge dressing
    Flat laces as shown
    "Derby" toe cap medallion (The picture shows the Francesina medallion)

    We have 2x people for the 946 G width. Just need one more.

    Second GMTO idea:

    2) Enzo Bonafe 3871 (Plain toe derby in Dark Cognac Shell Cordovan) - Should be roughly $1,000 with free EB shoe trees
    [IMG]
    [IMG]
    Dark Cognac Shell Cordovan
    363MOD Last
    Millerighe Rubber Sole
    Natural Calf Lining
    Dark Brown Edge Dressing
    Round waxed laces
    No toe medallion of course

    There has been more interest in the derby rather than the blucher, so we'll go with the derby.

    How about a special Low-instep GMTO? I.e. Bonafe lowers the instep on one of their lasts (my pref. would be 363MOD) for a group order? Is that possible? (with a markup or without)?

    Guys I am doing an interest check in Enzo Bonafe chukka on 946 last G width in either Claret or Plum museum calf . Let me know if you are interested.

    I would love a version of this in a snuff / darkish brown suede. Storm welt on double leather. Any interest? Is there a link (or photo) showing all the sole options available from EB?

    How about the same in boot form? I'm down for an apron toe boot in any full grain calf (smooth, lama, grain) or even shell in meleze/dark-ish brown (any sole, flat or reverse hand-welt).

    (I realize getting people to agree on a gmto for a niche maker like bonafe is like herding cats, but I'm going to try anyway, haha)

    Cross-Post with the Enzo Bonafe thread. I thought I was posting it to the GMTO forum initially, but got my forums mixed up when I went to post. Anyway, below is a proposed GMTO through Skoaktiebolaget for a Loden Suede chukka (Model 3403) on the 363MOD last. I am flexible on the details, just wanted to see if I could get the ball rolling for a GMTO on 363MOD for a Loden Suede Chukka. Let me know if interested!

    Style 3403 (Chukka)
    Last: 363MOD
    Material: Loden Suede
    Sole: Millerighe sole
    Trim: Natural or Medium Brown
    Laces: Flat, Natural or Medium Brown (whatever is available in that range)
    Lining - Open to suggestion

    Loden Chukka looks great. Would be in for a loden loafer, but IDK about a chukka. might be too much green

    Sure. 804 would be great.

    I'd prefer just an apron toe without the split lifted-stitch at the toe (since the 804 is already pointy), but I'm fine with the standard NST toe as well.

    It is just getting very difficult to organize GMTO anymore. I think it will be difficult to get three people for this.

    Some would say there is no such thing as too much green! I really like the shade of loden that has been coming out in the various MTOs from Skoak.

    I'll ask in the skoak thread if an NST boot is possible. leaves indicated in the past that bonafe has many designs which are unlisted, so he needs to check with them whether a gmto is even possible

    I'd potentially be interested in a non-grain brown leather (on Vibram sole) as I already have two CJ grain boots & just received a pair of grain EB shoes.

    So far we have, tentatively:
    @IGotId
    @laufer
    @sleepyinsanfran
    for the Bonafe apron toe boot:
    Specs so far:
    804 last,
    some non-grain leather (meleze calf?),
    vibram sole,
    flat or reverse hand-welt.

    I would like to propose:
    Antique brass eyelets (with or without speedhooks - either works for me)
    Fully lined with vegetable-tanned (natural) lining (not loud color linings, which are chrome tans)
    Pull tab (leather or fabric)
    Meleze calf (or etrusco maybe?)
    Shaft in matching suede (I'm fine with grain or matching calf as well)
