    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    The quote I got for the following makeup was $834. That's as a single MTO, so if you got 4 to go in it would be 20% cheaper.

    - Model: 3824 w/ Norvegese
    - Leather: Scozia 8177 (dark brown grain)
    - Last: 363MOD
    - Sole: Commando

    My plan was actually to put it on the 74945, but the fine people at Skoak felt that is a rather sleek last for a field boot. I'm less certain of my fit on the 363MOD. I don't want my first order on it to be a custom one in case I miss on fit. The price with the MTO fee is also a little steeper than I'd like it to be for my shi!tkicker boots.

    I think I am going to roll with a single MTO of the Chelsea boot in Inca grain and buy some beater boots in lieu of the makeup above during a holiday sale. Delivery time is 4-6 months, so you'd miss this season. Let me know if this idea picks up steam though.

    I'm sure we will get a fourth if we leave the deposit link up for a couple of weeks.

    Is that leather the same as zug leather? Interesting

    Scozia is, to my understanding, Scotch grain leather. Zug is a special type of waterproofed grain leather (that comes from a specific tannery?). This is not Zug, but still looks to be a robust leather for a foul-weather boot. I've attached the Skoak sample below.

    From my limited time lurking SF, I know Zug to be quite to popular term around here. I'm surprised there is not an @Zug tag that summons the denizens of this forum to expound upon its benefits :)

    Thanks for the clarification. I thought it worth asking. Probably a bit too late to catch any Zug boots for the upcoming winter in the northern hemisphere though

    Guys,

    Is anyone interested in a GMTO for the Enzo Bonafè seamless Wholecut? Brown and nothing too extravagant?

    x-post from EB thread

    Quick unscientific poll:

    Would anyone (other than me) be interested in the following GMTO (through Lorenzo at SG):

    * Austerity brogue balmoral boot
    * Aubergine calf (or plum museum) all over
    * 804 last
    * blind or black eyelets
    * 270 hand welt with bombe waist
    * single leather sole
    * black edge color
    * black lining

    Should be a very sleek, suit-worthy boot!

    Basically this model:

    In this leather:

    Without the brass eyelets.

    Would anyone be interested in a GMTO of a EB Jodhpur in Volpe Suede with a Buffalo Belt? I am open to discussion on the belt color, but I really would prefer a darker brown shade of suede.

    Enzo Bonafé Stingray Wholecut

    Hi guys, just wanted to let you know that we placed an order for a Wholecut Black Stingray back in October, this will be ready in spring. Sizes run from UK 7.5 - UK 9. Small batch as it's quite a special style. Email us if you want to place a pre-order for these.

    @Leaves any chance of a wholecut loafer in black stingray? I'd be up for that.
