I would like a classically-styled attache case, but cannot afford to pay that much. What should I try to find? (I've tried thrifting, but haven't found anything good.)

What would be the J. Crew/H&M equivalent for attache cases?

I would try Hideo Wakamatsu, they traditionally make their accessories out of Japan and some in China. He has a seperate website that sells only to the asian market, however, if you talk with the sales rep. you can browse their japanese site and have them ship you certain styles. http://hideowakamatsu.com/ http://ecom.udomain.com.hk/ btw, very affordable.
