I saw some Engineered Garments clothes and a few accessories in a nice store today (to give you an idea of the kind of look EG goes for the store also carry APC, CP Company, Philippa K, J Lindeberg, Cloak, Comme des Garçons etc). I'd say it looks like a cross between streetwear and what my father wore to hunting trips in the 70s (btw that's a good thing, those 70s photos are impressive). Some of the details (unusual shape of the pockets, seams, collars, etc.) look amazing and I'd recommend that brand to people looking for a nice change of pace from the chic/street mix going on right now with a lot of other brands. Since this is the styleforum I'm probably preaching to the converted and you people probably already have 20 pants and 50 shirts from EG but just in case check out that brand. If anybody has comments/more information on EG why don't you go ahead and post it here. BTW I like the new streetwear forum, keep it up.

I love their accessories.  I already have two belts and a bag, and plan on getting a courier bag when Gary gets them.  I may also pull the trigger on a bedford cord jacket, but that is still up in the air, especially since I am broke right now.  My favorite piece is the brown belt (I posted the pics) - great to wear with jeans, cords, flannels, a bunch of stuff.

I'd like to call dibs on calling ou this designer first despite being stuck in fustry old Boston.  Drinkwater's has a lot of their shirts and jackets, all with very cool details, and new accessories should be coming soon.  I know that a few of you have already gotten some of their stuff from Drinkwaters at my recommendation.  I highly suggest that anyione reading this forum getting in on the action.  There is no better feeling than spotting something before anyone else does.

Oh, and I love APC, Cloak and CP Company.  The other brands I can live with, but aren't nearly as ape crazy about.

It's Rogan/Junya Watanabe without the hype. They apparently take vintage designs, and get the original manufacturers to make them in cool new materials to their specifications.

No website, but just found a lot of their current pieces here: Engineered Garments Clothing Gary (Drinkwaters's) has a lot of their stuff from both the current S/S season and last F/W season, like the shirts, the ripstop "Everett" pants, and the denim jacket (all the jackets have the red taping inside, btw.) Â The sizing is a little big this year. Â I would definitely size down for a more fitted look. Oh, and it looks like United Arrows (Japan) is carrying them too now. Don't say you didn't hear it here first.

Does everyone on this thread understand Japanese, or am I not the only person dumbfounded by the proliferation of Rakuten buyers who seemingly know how to navigate that site? I know they list some things in english but when I try to see if I can order off it, it takes me to this [registration?] page which I ofcourse can't read.

Anyone care to step me through this or make a sticky on getting through Rakuten???

Shoes are made by Russell Moccassins, special order. Made of several different types of leather. They're a variation of Russell's Country Oxford. They go for about $572 in JP, wish I had some extra $ for that. I was thinking of asking Russell to do something similar for me, wonder if they'd be willing? Check them out here: http://www.nalu.co.jp/collection/eg/...xfordshoe.html

They've got Neck Ties and Bow Ties and they're pretty sweet. See the Engineered Garments Preview thread, which should be a couple threads below this one on the front page right now. They're made of the same materials as the flannels and denim shirts.

Thank you. Timpo, Russel mainly does custom work. If you have a clear idea of what you want, they'll do it, and it'll almost certainly be a lot cheaper than buying whatever Daiki had made.

Sweet. Thanks for the update. I'll give them a shot after I make up for all the money I'll be spending on X-Mas presents.
