We've just recieved our Engineered Garments SS 20 collection. We've opted to start our size runs at size XS > L. As always, we do have past seasons offerings and we'd be happy to let you know what we have in your size if you contact us.
As we reflect on the changing silhouette of EG, we realize that the brand is attempting to recapture the relaxed expression of earlier years. With that, the association of size has to be recalibrated in visualizing fit and function over trend experiences of the recent past.
Always here to assist;

Anyone pick up a pair of the Olive Fatigues or Painter Pants? Curious what the shade of green is this season, I find it hard to tell from the pictures on stores websites. SS19 was a pretty bright green on the patchwork fatigues but looked darker in pictures. Hoping this season is actually a bit darker shade and not an illusion in the pictures.

SS19 was called light olive from memory, this season its just olive. Without having both in front of me it's hard to recall, but I would say that this olive is a shade darker than SS19.

Curious if current situation will affect FW20 or SS21
[/QUOTE]

It absolutely will. The showroom, fulfillment and manufacturing are all closed for the foreseeable future. This could mean that timelines will be compromised, samples for SS 21 market will be delayed, FW 20 will surely be late. This is on top of any mill abroad will not be shipping goods to manufacture. We've currently experienced delays in stock goods for this season because of all of the above.
We have to just shut this evil thing down by staying put. I asking everyone to do a couple of things:
If you see anyone fucking up on the social distancing thing. Speak up! Because in this case, the multiplication thing is huge.
This virus can live on surfaces for up to three days. Beware of what you touch, wash your hands often and do not touch your face which we tend to do over 14 times per hour.
Spend money from home, buy gift certificates (Gift cards expire, watch that date) from your favorite restaurants, store, hair salon, anyone you know is directly affected by this because of the disruption in their business.

Stay safe everyone!

Just in case anyone is curious, the Olive color of the painter pants (and I assume SS20 fatigues) is exactly the same as the SS19 fatigues.
SS19 fatigues on the left in the picture and SS20 painters on the right.

So I have bought 4 work shirts and 1 short collar shirt this season, and have come to the conclusion that the shirts this season run super fucking long. I got a size medium, and I’m 5’9 170~. They all fit me right in the shoulder and sleeve length, but they go so far down my thighs, and I would have to tuck them in, and that’s not my style... do you guys reckon I should try to shrink in wash or return?

what did you have the tailor do? Is it realistic to shorten length by multiple inches?

Just pin it to your ideal length. If the rest of the shirt looks good that way, then yeah. It’s an easy fix.

As long as you have a 4 > 5 inch margin between the last button and bottom of shirt tail. Additionally, some shirt tails in the back are marginally longer than the front. Make sure your tailor pays attention to that. It's these fucking details that that drive me crazy. Attention to detail is my goalpost and I hope you strive for the same results. Also @Komuga the untuck shirt thing is dead, kaput, not a thing anymore.

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
