So...anyone know of a place that catalogues what is actually available for sale during a given season? My only frustration with the brand is that despite checking the official web site and bookmarking retailers, I always find out about the coolest stuff too late.

I mentioned this to someone at Nepenthes the other day, and they said it had something to do with Daiki wanting to maintain a close relationship with stores and customers or...something.

There are some things I would just prefer to know about and like, purchase.

Seconded.
Not even a catalogue to purchase, but even to know what is available and in what fabrics.
I find it hard to go through the look book and pick out things sometimes (though the styling is 10).

well at least they didn't use the old geezer models from seasons past lol

Beg your pardon!
If it wasn't for us "Old Geezers" who rocked vintage, surplus and thrift before you were even born...

I've had this idea too.. It would be nice to know what stores bought which styles, fabrics, sizes etc.

Especially during sales seasons..

I've had the idea to try to create something where you can just click through the look book and track whenever something is available in stores in your size, on sale in your size etc.

That’d be awesome. I’d just be happy if they pictured everything *somewhere* on the site so you at least know what exists before it’s too late. Many items don’t make the lookbook, and once you see something in a blog or something, it’s so hard to find on the second hand market, where everything is mostly very traditional: navy, black, sometimes olive.

Moving on, regarding the older models, I have to second Drinkwaters — those guys are the best! I can’t wait till I’m rocking the all-gray beard for that full EG look. :p

Personally prefer the modeling from previous seasons

At least the models are cracking a few smiles in the SS20 lookbook, unlike the FW19 one

Question for you guys. I went XS for the fatigue pants and S for Emerson’s this season. If I was looking at the patchwork Gurkha and java cloth Hawaiian shorts, would I get an XS Or an S in those?

When the pants are sized numerically a 30" fits me perfectly. I'm always in between in Alpha sizes.
In the Emersonson from SS19, I took a size Small and it runs a bit big on me, but the XS was ridiculously small.
I could just fit into the XS of the Fatigue, but it was snug.
In Ghurkas from SS18, I took a Small.
For SS19, I feel that the Ghurkas ran big. Without knowing your exact waist measurement though, it's hard to offer advice.

Just received the Knit Jacket in Navy Mesh this morning (via Drinkwater’s). Super happy with the fit and drape and it breathes pretty well too. Going to be good in warmer months and on flights. Fabric has a lot of give. Some pics with whatever I happened to have on.

How has this aged through the season? What else was made up in mesh this season?

Anyone handle the mesh Cagoule shirt with hood can comment/feedback?

I wish some of the mesh stuff was more widely available. I love the mesh backing of the field vest this season

I believe so @gettoasty Haven't seen em in stock anywhere in awhile as they sold through pretty quick at the usual websites. If you can find one i'd highly recommend it!
