I bought the white oversized in my regular EG size, S

They're damn long. I'm usually a medium in uniqlo and sometimes a small.

Hey fellas. Looking for khaki fatigue pants in size 32. Medium? Any leads? Thanks in advance.

I just bought two from uniqlo, and managed to try on a few sizes. I went with my regular L size. It is not fitting too loose (just a regular roomy L, I’d say). XL is a nice loose fit on me, but way longer than I prefer (and I am 6’3”).
So I’d say the go pretty regular sized.

I’d agree with this- I got the navy stripe and black ‘oversized’ in yesterday, both size L which is what I consider to be my regular EG size. Both are a fairly classic regular fit (i.e. not slim) and despite the oversize being described as such, I wouldn’t say that there was much difference in fit after trying them both on. It is worth mentioning that I’m fairly broad though, so they’re a good cut for my frame.

Need some SF advise. Picked up the Norwegian pants from Oi Polloi in size S but these are sized big! I can only wear them with a belt. Would you advise to keep them based on the fit or try to find XS?
Ps pls dont mind the mess behind

I'm going to say you should size down -- they look a little billowy. Why not hang on to them, order and XS and return whichever doesn't fit. I recall a few years ago when the cargo shorts were enormous, had to size down to an S. I haven't worn an S in anything since I was 13. One thing that's consistent about EG sizing is that it's inconsistent.

When I sized down like I thought I should have for my nw pant the waist just did not fit. For both my pairs the 'billowiness' is def there, even moreso than with @SLAB

Green pair is size 32/M from SS18 (32/S this season)

Navy pair with just my flannel tucked in is the pair I had to resell because the waist was unwearable even though the leg seems to fit a bit nicer, the size is 30/S from FW18 (30/XS this season)

Navy pair with my coat on is size 32(M) from FW18 (32/S this season)

For me SLAB's pair looks to fit better than my green pair even, I'd keep em. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies guys. Unfortunately i cant exchange them for an xs since they are not available at oi polloi and not easy to find. Its definitely the widest pants i have. @grayfox thank you for the compliment. Its your fit pictures of the green pair that made me want to grab a pair. Ill give it a few more try ons and decide this weekend. I might just have to get used to this kind of model

They might seem billowy on sides simply because they need some ironing. I rarely go below 9 inch hem so I'd keep them but if you're not fully convinced then return them. I always find that when I'm not 100% sure on an item I end up selling it after wearing few times.

Yes if you're new to wide pants it's mostly just getting used to it honestly. Does this year's iteration not have the cinch waist? I much prefer it to using a belt.

Also definitely try ironing/steaming the sides as mentioned above

I don't think the Norwegians come with a cinch. I have a pair from FW 18 and believe they don't have a cinch either.
