I'm size L in EG 99% of the time but went with a M in the logger jacket

I have a Large coming tomorrow so I'll see but think I should have gone medium to be honest .. pictures on nittygrittystore look lovely so looking forward to this piece to add to my collection ..

Thanks.

Don't know if this is the appropriate thread to post this, but I was wondering if I could get opinions on the fit for my newly acquired Patchwork Bedford? I think it looks pretty good with a comfortable fit, but wanted to get thoughts from the seasoned EG connoisseurs. Please ignore the wrinkly clothes; honestly just threw a quick random assortment just so I could take simple pics to ask fit advice with. Would appreciate any thoughts!

I like it this way, but I know a few people on here who would size down too. Depends on the look you wanna go for

Thanks for the responses! My chest size might perhaps fit more in line with an XS, however, I felt the sleeves would be much too short (based on measurement charts I've seen) for my long, lanky arms, hence why I went with a Size Small, which I feel is a good compromise for it. As long as the size Small doesn't look overly huge for me, I'm okay with that.

Yea I like the Bedford this way. The older fits are quite short and cropped.

Can anyone comment on the sizing for the new EG vans? On Haven's site it says they fit a half-size big, but I've been looking around and it seems some others say the fit shorter than normal vans. Is the sizing on this iteration different than earlier ones?

I'd imagine it'd be the exact same as last year. I've not received my checkerboard pair yet but I went the same as last season 10.5, down from my Nike size 11. I can let you know once I get them though!

I am going to disagree with the other comments. I think the Bedford looks too big. Sizing down may give you issues with sleeve length though. But I don’t love the fit as is.

Yes, that is pretty much my major concern, which I've had even with previous Bedford iterations. I usually find everything fits pretty well with XS, however, the sleeves are so short, they look pretty ridiculous with my long arms. That being said, I guess it's worth having a peace of mind to ensure I have the right size, and I was able to track down another size XS, so will try that out once I receive it and see which of the two will be the more ideal fit!

@ricebomb can you return for a size down? To me the profile is way too large. But if you prefer the slouchier fit def go with a wider pant
